од пропасти до сад нас,
чуј и ода сад нас чувај,

Наши отаџбину смо сачували,
од турских владавина,
одмлад смо се ми борили,
све до слободе наше драге.

Понекад је гинуло много,
али нас није стид,
некад слободу смо чували,
али нас није мрзело.

С тобом Богдане градили смо,
с владиком Петром од Цетиња,

све док нас све ми је дошло.
