Very cool mod, but doesn't work with modded spears.

[1] Balance wise, it seems cool.
You fall rapidly from the sky when atleast 4 blocks in the air and holding rightclick with a spear and on hitting the ground you kinda stick into the ground and hover in a spear falling attack animation and copies of your spear come out of the ground for a moment, sorta like Xiao's burst plunge attacks from Genshin. If you know it you know it.

The spears deal constant damage in an area to a total of around 3 times with damage seemingly equivalent to your spear.

[2] However you don't get protected from fall damage. so you will kaboom yourself the moment you come out of the animation if you don't get fall protection first.
You don't have damage protection either so falling on an enemy makes them hit you etc so it can be hard to place.
It also doesn't hit platforms, so you'll go straight through and possible splat at the very bottom where a solid surface is.
In a tight or uneven space the spears may not appear or you might get stuck falling until you impact a flatter surface. Care should be taken when using in non-terraformed areas.
