Ghost Spectate on Boss Death

Description
Prevent any player from respawning when any boss is active.

Dead player can still spectate the fight and can be seen as a ghost by living players.

Works on both Multiplayer and Singleplayer (although a bit redundant).

Recent updates:

v0.21

  • Added partial solution for mods with reviving mechanics.

v0.20

  • Added special mechanics for non-despawning bosses.

@mooshiimine I gave some of the mods a quick read and I think maybe some of the races (like Mr Plague's Skeleton race) has a unique mechanic bypassing the normal death sequence.

I'll try to see if I can replicate the bug with S.Prime first.

I'm sure we were fighting skeleton prime, and our mod list was just a few calamity mods, mrplagueraces, crystal dragons, OE, recipe browser, and boss check list, it might me the crystal dragons mod

@mooshiimine Do you recall which boss you were fighting, and any of the mod that also altered respawning?

Certain mods have revive mechanics which can respawn you. Ghost Spectate has been tested with Calamity but lmk with more info if you can.

Im on a server with friends and were playing with calamity, the mod does say please wait untill after the boss but we still respawn

@Zish I believe you can achieve it by using other workshop mods such as Team Spectate or Multiplayer Boss Spectate+Better Multiplayer

Can you add the option to lock your camera onto the player(s) / boss(es) body? Like how you can spectate and cycle through the alive players in a murder mystery game.

@Tron Hi, the mod is updated and should account for Thorium reviving mechanic now. I can't test it extensively so expect janks and bugs.
