JR East Series 251 "Super View Odoriko"

The JR East Series 251 "Super View Odoriko" is a limited express train that was introduced in 1990. It was equipped with luxurious facilities and various services typical of the bubble era of that time. Cars 1 and 2 were double-decker green cars with a shop, salon and observation seats; cars 3 to 8 were standard cars with a high-decker structure; and cars 9 and 10 had box seats for groups, kids' rooms and observation seats.
In 2002, the trains were renewed, with seats replaced and the paintwork changed to an emerald green base. However, as they were made of plain steel and had been running on the harsh coastline for many years, they were retired in 2020 when their successor, the Series E261 "Saphir Odoriko", was introduced.
The mod is available in the as-is and as-renewed specifications, but the interiors are both in the pre-renewal specification. Please be aware of this beforehand.
