Actually, no. This was my practice run, to learn the basics of faction making. I am working on a more indepth faction, for which I want to use custom ships.
I already have permission to use ships from skull & bones, but I might need 1 or 2 more L ships.
And thank you! I appreciate the kind words.
Kinda funny, I've had plans to make an additonal split faction and simple "story" for a long time now but never sat down to do it.
Looks like you beat me to it :D
Nice work so far, keep it up!
Your plans are very large and ambitious, and are certainly amazing!
I'm looking forward to the pirate drug economy.
I hear there's still a lot of work to be done on the mod, but if you're tired, don't pack your plans in too much, and make sure to take breaks and time for yourself too!
The most important thing is your time, your lifestyle, and your physical and mental health!
You've done a great job!
Thank you! I am happy about your interest. That gives me even more motivation.
Yes, it's a new faction with a csutom sector. It will be a pirate faction and their economy will be based on the production of drugs (it will play a big part). With some custom weapons, custom ships and a view new wares.
I have almost finished the weapons, but there is still quite a bti to be done.
I'm sorry if the sentence sounds strange because it's an automatic translation.
In the first half of the sentence, I meant to write about the idea for a faction mod.
As for the second half of the sentence, from reading the series of comments, it seemed like you were creating a new mod that expands sectors and factions, so I just wanted to say that I'm looking forward to that new mod.
Hi there, I am not quite sure what you are refering to?
"Also, I think the new sectors and the factions that come with them are very great!"
Which new factions do you mean?
I hope you will take a look at this as a reference rather than a request.
Since X4's economy is at the extremes of nations and pirates, I would be happy if there was a mod that delves into civilians and criminals.
This is an idea I was working on a while ago, but I gave up on it without completing or releasing it... (Because if you create a neutral civilian station, the trading AI of the main faction will start trying to break through the enemy's defenses as usual)
I wish there was a way to specify hostile sectors as a blacklist for NPC factions...
Also, I think the new sectors and the factions that come with them are very great!
But it's not bad to use the vanilla sectors.
At least you don't have to worry about conflicts with other sector-adding mods, so it's easy to use in that respect.
Also, Xenon jobs get distributed among all their sectors, that means, the less sectors they own at the start, the stronger they will be in other sectors. Keep that in mind.
