COMMENT CONTINUED: The application of your veterans mod is amazing because units become stronger no doubt but the growth feels earned and loreful even. Yet the strongest low tier wont outshine a higher tier unit but will still do much better because of experience in hard fought battle and not cause of skill points.
The red skill line though disrupts that immersion and makes things unnecessarily easier I think. Would you ever consider making such a mod and pairing it with SFO?
Btw hope all is well and you are enjoying your time out there.
Love this mod and really increases variety of campaign experience.
This mod made me think of something. Have you ever considered making a mod that removes the red skill line (the skill line that buffs the stats of units in a lord's army) ? I understand your aim is not to make the game easier and instead make the game feel like it has more depth. I feel the red skill line kinda goes against that principle. Example: Skaven slaves are buffed out in an army and can go toe to toe with higher tier units not buffed out in another lord's army of separate faction just because of some placed skill points.
