UPDATE! NEW XENOTYPE: HALF-GHOUL



A xenotype based on ghouls and their implants! Does not feel pain, is strong in close combat and is inhuman! At the cost of his stupidity...

This xenotype can only be encountered through an very rare creepjoiner event



General Information

With this mod you can implant all ghoul implants in human! Why do you need this? I don't know! And it’s also very painful.. and sad for your colonists. But painstopper fixes everything... or almost everything?



Each implant gives a person 50% to pain and -6 to mood!

Ghoul Plating and Ghoul Barbs adds -1 to pawn beauty

Inhumanization, Body Modder and Transhumanist meme from Ideology removes mood debuff

Plans

- new implants for ghouls and the ability to install them for people

- new xenotype based on ghoul implants

- new genes?



It’s hard to say about the balance yet, I’m waiting for your suggestions!

You have a redundant metabolism listed in the xml for regeneration which causes red errors and the void meditation included in one of the other ghoul genes also causes errors. I don't know why the void meditation causes xml errors as it appears to be formatted the same way as inhumanized but maybe they don't let you add that one through genedefs? I honestly don't know. I wish the game gave more useful error messages sometimes as in my own xml mods I get crashes and the game won't tell me what the issue is.

Oi @TheTrueJhonMadden use cherry picker, it allows you to manually remove part of any mod you don't want

This is a neat idea but can the xenotype be toggled off? Or is there another version of the mod without it? I wanna have spiky people but the half-ghouls really don't interest me at all.

Hi @viva. Is this mod dependent on another? The reason I ask is because when I load it I get an error for the Amentia GeneDef informing me that allowedMeditationFocusTypes is not a valid field type for type GeneDef. I went and looked at my other mods and I only see allowedMeditationFocusTypes being used in TraitDef types instead of GeneDefs. To get this to load correctly, I needed to make a local copy and remove the allowedMeditationFocusTypes/Void elements. After that, the mod loads fine, but obviously, the Gene won't supply the Void meditation focus.

мод интересный но стоит бафнуть минус к настроению и сделать так чтоб трансгуманист и идеология не отменяли эфект а лишь резали его, а ну и новый ксенотип имхо но лишний и имеет не оч приятные иконки генов не вписывающиеся в стиллистику

Hey I am thinking of making a standalone renegenation gene (I want to change it away form achite) using your code wanted to know if its ok if I give you credit for it
