  • Chart plotting auto pilot

  • 4 Separate single berths
  • Well appointed galley
  • Large pantry (empty)

Instructions:

The tug was built with game functionality in mind, rather than realism. All the systems are either automatic or very simple.
  • Engine Startup: Turn engines on with the switches to the right of the helm, or with the control panels on the engines in the engine room.
  • Generator: The generator starts automatically on spawn, but can be shut off and/or started on the overhead panel at the left of the helm, or the panel on the generator in the engine room.
  • Forward/Reverse: W/S on the helm, or moving either throttle on the right of the helm will operate the throttle for both engines, the throttles will remain thus synchronised unless the disable synchronisation switch next to the throttles at the helm is activated.
NOTE: The indicators in front of the throttles show the forward/neutral/reverse state of the engines. Flashing blue indicates engine is in neutral.
NOTE: There is an amount of differential thrust automatically activated to assist zero/low speed maneuvering.
  • Steering: A/D on the helm.

This tug was my first true labour of love, the first creation I decided to get serious about building with after seeing so many master level creations on the WS. I know there's more I could have done to get it looking nice but I was starting to get physics shapes warnings, so I had to stop short of my final decorating goal. It's been a great project to learn how to apply XML editing and use a few other tricks here and there. Hopefully people enjoy playing with my creation!
