Perle nuclear attack submarine

Description
After even more work, I redesigned entirely my previous submarine (Emeraude, removed from the WS) to the new standard, Perle. Like Emeraude, Perle is entirely vanilla, no modded dock nor xml, but it's really demanding on many CPU, so be warned. As usual, the thanks for the parts from other people:

It works using a nuclear reactor strongly modified from thechort's 16KW Nuclear Steam Generator and integrates elements from the August's waterfall sonar display https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198088043392/myworkshopfiles/?appid=573090. Thanks to them and huge thanks to the Subworks group for their support and help during the design process of this and many other submarines!

As the warning said, this is a big submarine, and it comes with a LOT of functionalities, with the idea to make it a boat sufficient for most if not all activities at sea:
- Nuclear-powered, so depending on DLC and configuration, unlimited autonomy with a top speed setting at 40 knots submerged.
- Equipped with rescue and support equipment with winches in the sail and aft of the main hull, all with command inside the submarine.
- Three decks inside the main hull, featuring: bedrooms, a commanding officer room , an infirmary, a rec room, a command centre and a diver sas.
- A sail with two decks, featuring a pilot cabin and a antichamber with rescue equipment as well as threeretracting masts (periscope, radar, snorkel)
- A full control centre with mast control, reactor control, sensor display, navigation (including direction holding), noisemaker deployment, control and weapon command.
- Very heavy armament with 16 vertical-launched balistic missiles with a range above 20 km using GPS navigation combined with terminal radar tracking and guidance, and 22 weapons in four tubes equipped with a reloading system completely controlled from the CIC.
- 10 torpedoes, 6 land-attack cruise missiles, 6 anti-ship cruise missiles.
- Advanced weapon control system to select the weapon to load in any tube and program them before launch.
- Advanced sonar display and target motion analysis system connected to the weapon system
- Automated depth control at speed and at stop.
- Pump-jet propulsion (external design courtesy of it_aint_me(Robert)).
- Snorkel for emergency diesel power generation.
- Two towed sonar arrays.
- Advanced periscope display and environmental scanner display.
- Swimmer Delivery Vehicle - an autonomous mini-submarine docked at the main boat's stern.

The procedure for using it is first to wait for the nuclear reactor to power up to provide enough generation for propulsion, then once power is running normally, use the pilot seat to do manual navigation and depth control after filling the ballasts. Depth control settings allows you to select a depth at 8, 25, 100 and 250 metres in addition to surface. The touchscreen on right of the pilot seat allows the navigation function, click there and the submarine will head towards the desired heading.

As for weapons, missiles and torpedoes are using their own consoles for the firing solutions. Finally, keep in mind that, again, it's a really complex build with many, many subgrids, so your CPU probably won't like it and it might need some fine-tuning here and there.

Compatible with MP as long as all users have a 1500 qubit quantum computer and FTL bandwidth.

16 balistic missiles onboard.

is there a nuclear ballistic on it?

Apparently, removing the parentheses around the link made it OK for Steam. I won't try to understand... Le Shrug.

Considering the link is literally to another Steam profile, this sounds strange.

steam says that the url has malicies software?

Use the weapon computer and select the target mode, then select the tube for the weapon you want to fire, set up the parameters, if it's a torpedo, then either select a manual intercept point or directly load one of the firing solutions you generated with the sonar display screen after doing a Target Motion Analysis procedure. Then go back to the tube mode, flood the tube, open its outer doors and launch.

You know, like IRL.

yes but how do i select a target and fire a weapon at it

Sit in the pilot control seat, use the touchscreen interfaces to give speed, depth, bearing, etc., instructions.

hi, are there any instructions for this? cause I am very confused.

fair enough, thanks for the help ^w^
