Essentially, you cannot legally sell creations relating to characters which haven't been commissioned, essentially like heres some examples:

Legal: Someone commissions you to make a model of Chica, you are able to make a one time payment off of this legally for the commission, the model cannot be sold afterwards

Illegal: You made a model of Freddy and decided to put it up for sale, you have a disregard for the law and just want a few bucks, you gain the chance to be sued

@Jodi well, there you have a point. This is what happened with Ed00chan marketing the fnaf brand with his FNAF HS "series". Let's hope nothing more happens

Issue with this is that accuracy models and designs of copyrighted characters are all they sell
