That was the point my friend. You see in the original it was all clean and functional. But now, since everything is destroyed, the button and lift don't work. In reality however, the lift usually triggered when some stands on it. Although in the editor, there is a option to make it activate always after the button is pressed, as you can see in my map series Cube Tube. I was very new to both the editor and Beemod at the time and didn't know the option existed. I improvised by making it like the button and lift didn't work.

In conclusion I didn't know the option to make the lift go up or down without the player standing on it existed at the time and brushed it off. Also yeah i'm dumb for leaving portal surfaces above the funnel but i made it part of the puzzle anyways.

Smart for pointing it out though.

Button and lift served no purpose. Could just portal the cube onto the funnel
