1. Create an incomplete game.
2. Allow people to mod your game.
3. Mods created by people completes your game and evolves it beyond the limits of its pathetic game engine.
4. Get praised for features other people made.
5. ???
6. Profit.
7. Apparently not enough money.
8. Release an useless update for a decade year old game.
9. Break the mods, the base game, even break the features that comes with the update.
10. Get praised by blind fanatics for wasting peoples time and effort.
11. ???
12. Profit. (And don't forget to tell people to upgrade their PC's, I mean duh??)
13. Rinse and repeat for future games.

But really how to fix the game?

How do I download the fallout 4 down-grader, I wanna play my modded fallout 4, and download nexus mods as well, right don't want to play it if it isn't modded, asking for a friend.

It is the London Mod guys I really feel sorry for, 3 to 4 years working for free on a mod, you are going to add to a game for free, and you get no respect from the game company. it is more like hate from the game company. I am praying for you London people. you should copyright that mod, release it for the old game version, and make todd pay you to upgrade it to the next gen. In my opinion fallout 3 was the best fallout game, and I rate them in order to release, including starfield. the newer the game the worse it is. Starfield = look at the purty stars, and it has whinny followers to.

Ugh! I was just playing last night and now ModOrganizer won't load. Thank god I just finished recently and was just cleaning up loose ends.

Steam really needs a version control system, where you can lock your game at a particular level.

i remember new vegas on PS2 when i was doing the dam quest which i believe was like one of the last quests for main story line, game would crash and could never finish...i was still somewhat satisfied though for some reason .

thety make you buy a game for $69.00 which would be around £598.95p in gbp then release free dlcs then in comes the sly creation club content where they make a fortune off other mod creators this is also another reason i dfo not work as a free lance quest story line dersigner anymore

@allosaur Money thats why it always boils downm to money the same thing with some games thats been out for ages suddenly starting rl money transactions or micro transactions for stuff that was originally free in there games plus hes a pinch purse he wont buy if he can get for free that's what type of dev were looking at here and belive me ive worked with some mega corp game companies and told them the same things i tried to warn Bethesda about there is no point selling something when you already own the game but in fact what the companies like Bethesda don't tell you is youi do not own that game you just bought but only a legal code license that can and would be taken from you even though you paid for the game they still have legal rights to ban / revoke your licence code thats how the law side works with these money sharks

What a communist move by Todd. Instead of putting out a great game that doesn't needs mods in the first place, he attacks his very own customer base, Gamers won't forget this. Bethesda will NEVER get another dime of my money unless they produce QUALITY for the first time ever, Why the heck doesn't he hire some of these MODDERS? They obviously got way more on the ball the Bethesda ever did.
