Your linked mod is the outdated version, you'll need to select the newer version so it doesnt annoy people showing the wrong mod

He means the Discord channel called "Da Modding Den" - you find it linked at the bottom of each Steam page description of many mods if the author likes to hang there, or often people thank them for helping and link them.... Look at 10 mods' descriptions and you'll find it for sure!

I believe when you Google search for resources, you might wanna include the names "Cryswar" and "Sebidee" in your searches - I believe both have released helpful guides - even though they might not be related to reskinning specifically, might be for example about making unit mods for the game. Hope that helps <3

You can reskin using RPFM + Asset Editor. You can find plenty of sources to figure it out, what i recommend is joining the modding community server
