A Rim Reborn - Elezen Race

In 1 collection by Aelanna
A Rim Reborn
10 items
Description
The Elezen are a characteristically tall people, long of limb and slender of build. They are also possessed of a somewhat extended lifespan in comparison to the Hyur. The Elezen once claimed sole dominion over Eorzea, their presence predating that of the other races, and, as such, developed a heightened sense of honor and pride. In years past, the Hyur migration into Elezen lands sparked bitter conflict. At present, however, the mutual understanding reached between the two races allows them to work towards mutual peace and prosperity.

This mod adds the Wildwood and Duskwight Elezen races from Final Fantasy XIV to RimWorld!

Yeah that makes sense, confusion alleviated.

@Nicot - To be specific, though, the social impact bonuses are largely driven by the elezen's canonical aptitude for leadership and collaboration.

"The Elezen are a proud people who value discipline and order above all, and are naturally adept at collaborative effort. They made great contributions to the founding of Ishgard and Gridania, and that they continue to stand is testament to their talent for governance."

@Nicot - Social impact represents a pawn's ability to influence and persuade others, and is actually a double-edged sword. Social impact means other pawns will respond better to social interaction, but it also means that insults cut deeper, making it easier for them to make enemies.
It is not a measure of how they treat outsiders. :)

I'm confused by the decision to give elezen social bonuses when the major population centers were varying degrees of xenophobic prior to Warrior of Light, given that Ishgard barred outsiders entirely, Gridanians greatly distrust outsiders and Duskwight generally don't get along with anyone.

I thought Elezeen has small heads and long necks

@d_valroth - No worries! If it ever becomes an issue I can definitely change that, but I figured that people would have come here from Core and added it from there.
