100% Achievement Guide with Console & Bots

Complete Steam Guide of Quake Live Achievements, using Bots and the Developers console.

The goal of this guide is to share how to get all achievements in the game only with bots and using the developers console.

You will find detailed explanations of the achievements to be done, accompanied by console commands and screenshots for some additional details.

Feel free to add comments and to Rate this Guide. I hope it will be clear and detailed enough !

Important

Before starting, read this section carefully !

First of all, you should know that achievements are only unlocked during your first match once you have launched the game. (Check the "Achievement Error Fix" Guide, link below, to understand why)

So, after each categories, you will have to restart the game. Keep this in mind !

Another thing I recommend you, is to disable cloud saving : having to restart the game all the time will allow you to not have to wait for cloud synchronization every time.

Then while reading, you can triple-click on the commands and use Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V to Copy/Paste them directly into the console !

Also use Ctrl+F to search for the name of a specific achievement if you need to, you will land directly on the appropriate section.

I created this guide only to save people wanting to get this 100% from having to search for hours how to do it with bots and the console.

Let's Start

First, you need to activate the developers console.

To do this, go to the options then to the “Game” tab and set “Enable Console” to “On”.

After that you need to press the "Tilde" button (" ~ " for QWERTY) or the " ² " button (for AZERTY), button at the left of " 1 ".

After that you can go on "Play" > "Start Match"

And I remind you, if you checked the other guides I linked before, it's really important to set the "Match Type" on "Internet" ! You will also need to set the "Maximum Players" at "24" (the maximum).

Then select the map and the type of match on the left.

Duel

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Duel
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console (you can copy/paste) :

fraglimit 1; g_damage_g 500; addbot crash 1

Now, you just need to kill the bot with the Gauntlet.

	Here Goes Nothing Frag your opponent with Gauntlet in a Duel.
	Jesse James Win a Duel without dying.
	First Frag Score the first kill in a match.
	Testing One..Two.. Complete 1 match.
	Victory Win a match for the first time.

1 HP

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

fraglimit 1; bot_gauntlet 1; g_startingHealth 1; g_startingHealthBonus 0; g_startingWeapons 65; addbot crash 1

Now, just find the bot and kill him with the Railgun (you should have it from the start). Be careful, during this time the bot will only have the gauntlet and he will try to kill you.

	Plus One Frag an opponent when you have only 1 health.
	Overkill Use the Rail Gun to frag an opponent with only 1 point of health.
	Aim Bot Win a match with 60% or greater accuracy.

Training Rooms

Training Rooms are located in Play > Training Center.

There are 2 ways to simplify the Training Rooms achievements.

The first method is to try doing them and entering the following command when you need to make big jumps :

g_gravity 100

And type this command when you're done (to make it default) :

g_gravity 800

But there is another way to do all the training achievements very quickly and very easily, thanks to developer mode !

Crash Course

Type this in the console :

devmap qztraining duel

Click "Join Match", then follow Crash until she reaches the hallway and starts talking, now enter the following command and fly to the end of the hallway :

g_speed 1000; noclip

When you reach the last portal behind the closed gate, at the end of the hallway, type the next command and go through the portal :

g_speed 320; noclip

Now you can skip the tutorial (with "F3" by default) and, only when the match start (AFTER THE TIMING) type the next command and you should kill Crash with the machinegun just 1 time :

	Hall Monitor Reach the end of the skill test hallway in the Crash Course.
	Crash Test Win the Crash Course match against our trainer.

Elevate Training

Go into Play > Training Center and click on Start Training for Elevate.
When you spawn, type this in the console :

devmap qzpractice1

Click "Join Match", type the next command and you should just fly and get to the ending platform of each hallway :

g_speed 1000; noclip

When you reach the last platform, type the next command (You must hear the sound of the Trumpet before entering the portal ! So when you are on the end platform, try to walk to the beginning of it to get the achievement)

g_speed 320; noclip

	Elevate Beginner Finish the first hall in the Elevate training level.
	Elevate Adept Finish the second hall in the Elevate training level.
	Elevate Expert Finish the final hall in the Elevate training level.

Accelerate Training

Go into Play > Training Center and click on Start Training for Accelerate.
When you spawn, type this in the console :

devmap qzpractice2

Click "Join Match", type the next command and you should just fly and get to the ending platform of each hallway :

g_speed 1000; noclip

When you reach the last platform, type the next command (You must hear the sound of the Trumpet before entering the portal ! So when you are on the end platform, try to walk to the beginning of it to get the achievement)

g_speed 320; noclip

	Accelerate Beginner Finish the first hall in the Accelerate training level.
	Accelerate Adept Finish the second hall in the Accelerate training level.
	Accelerate Expert Finish the final hall in the Accelerate training level.

Clan Arena

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Clan Arena
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard or Courtyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

Then only when you start the match (at the beginning of the round), enter this into the console :

kick ranger; kick ranger

You should be in 1v3. Now, you will have to do 2 rounds :

• 1st round: kill everyone with the Grenade Launcher (you should have it) and shoot the grenade directly on them (they will die instantly)
  
• 2nd round: kill everyone with the Gauntlet (press "1" to equip)

	Last Hope In Clan Arena, frag 3 or more opposing players to win the round, when you're the last alive.
	Nade Spam Win a CA round using the Grenade Launcher.
	Punch Out Get the last frag in a CA round with gauntlet.

Harvester

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Harvester
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard (will be easier on this map)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

bot_gauntlet 1; g_startingWeapons 35; g_damage_g 1; g_damage_mg 500; g_damage_rg 500; g_infiniteAmmo 1; addbot crash 1 red

Now go to the center of the map and you should see the item in the screenshot below.

The only thing you need to do is kill the bot and pick up the skull near this item each time you do a kill (sometimes it doesn't appear). When you have stacked 3 of them, go to the enemy base (you will see a logo behind the walls) and it will drop your skulls.

Head Hunter
Capture at least 3 skulls at once in Harvester.

Domination

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Domination
  
• Map / Arena : Courtyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

g_speed 600; addbot crash 1 red

Now you just have to capture 3 control points and just wait 30 seconds.

Point Denied
Hold 3 Domination control points in an arena for at least 30 seconds.

Attack & Defend

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Attack & Defend
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard or Courtyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

g_speed 500; bot_gauntletOnly 1; g_damage_g 1; g_startingWeapons 3; g_damage_mg 500; scorelimit 6; addbot ranger 1 blue; addbot ranger 1 blue; addbot crash 1 red; addbot crash 1 red; addbot crash 1 red;

Then, only when you get into the match (at the beginning of the round), enter this into the console :

kick ranger; kick ranger

You should be in 1v3. Now, you will have to do 4 rounds. I recommend you to press "K" (Self Kill) when you are in Defense round.

• Round 1 - Defense : Use the Self Kill (press "K")
  
• Round 2 - Attack : Kill everyone WITHOUT touching the ennemy Flag.
  
• Round 3 - Defense : Use the Self Kill (press "K")
  
• Round 4 - Attack : DON'T shoot or kill anyone. Take the enemy flag and bring it back to your base.

	Ninja Cap Capture the flag in Attack & Defend without killing anyone on the team, minimum size 3.
	Missed Opportunity Kill the opposing team in Attack & Defend without touching the flag.

Kamikaze Item

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Space Chamber (Important !)
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
• Maximum Players : 24

For this achievement you just need to go at a specific place in this map and you will just need to add some bots in the console :

addbot crash; addbot crash; addbot crash; addbot crash; addbot crash; addbot crash

So first try to reach this place on the screenshot below. Then go along the wall in the little platform between the wall and the jump pad (below the crosshair on the same screenshot).

All you have to do now is take the silver skull (it's the Kamikaze Item) and find a bot, stay close to him, then click on the "Mouse 3" (middle button) or press "Enter".

WTF Was That
Record your first frag with the Kamikaze Item.

Power-up

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings (Don't forget to set the Maximum players at 24 !) :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Warehouse (Important !)
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
• Maximum Players : 24

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

fraglimit 1000; timelimit 100; g_damage_g 500; g_startingWeapons 19; g_infiniteAmmo 1

Then type the following command few times (until it say "Unable to add bot" in red) :

addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1

So let's start !
During the match you will notice 2 logo behind walls (Left : Battle Suit / Right : Quad Damage) :

Quad Damage

You will have to do a few actions with the Quad Damage :

• First : Notice where the Quad Damage is, stay around and don't take the other Power-up.
  
  
• When you heard "Quad Damage", a bot took it. Come and kill him with the Gauntlet (without Power-up on you).
  
  
• If you didn't got Bandit achievement, try to stay close to the Quad Damage and take it when a bot is really close to it.
  
  
• After that, you just need to do 10 kills with the Quad Damage (it accumulates in 1 match).

Battle Suit

When you have done all this, all you have to do is get the second Power-up : the Battle Suit.

Simply go to the location indicated in the screenshot below. Place yourself below the platform on the crosshair in the screenshot and fire with the rocket launcher at your feet (without jumping). You should be propelled to the height of the platform.

Now, go in the "tunnel" but pay attention to the laser wall in front of you, the Battle Suit will be at your left.

	Killjoy Frag an opponent who has Quad Damage when you have no power-up.
	Sucker Punch Use the Gauntlet to frag an opponent who has Quad Damage.
	Bandit Deny Quad Damage from your opponent.
	Resource Hog Get Quad and Battle Suit in one match.
	Smack Down Accumulate 10 or more Quad Damage frags in 1 game.

Midair !

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings (Don't forget to set the Maximum players at 24 !) :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Space CTF (Important !)
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
• Maximum Players : 24

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

As soon as the match starts, go to this place and use the thruster.

Here the enemies will only come from where you came. So stick your back to the wall and prepare your crosshair in the air.

Now, you will need to do some Midair Frags :

• 5 Midair Frags with the Shotgun
  
• 25 Midair Frags with the Rocket Launcher

Advices

• If you are confident you can add more bots by entering the following command: addbot crash 1
  
  
• If you find yourself surrounded by bots, don't panic, you must regenerate your HP. Take the shotgun and clean up, because the rocket launcher can propel you into the void !

	Raptor Frag an opponent while you are in the air.
	Psychic Use a rocket to kill an opponent who is in the air.
	Pull Record 5 Shotgun frags of opponents in the air in one match.
	Midair Get 25 frags using projectiles on opponents midair.

Revenge

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard (easier on this map)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

g_speed 500; fraglimit 1000; bot_gauntletOnly 1; g_damage_g 500; g_damage_mg 500; g_damage_rg 500; g_infiniteAmmo 1; g_startingWeapons 67; addbot crash 1

Now let the bot kill you 3 times, then kill the bot 1 time to receive the Revenge Medal. You just have to do it again until you reach 100 Revenge Medals.

This map is one of the smallest I found and you must be equipped with a machinegun and a railgun which will both one-shot the bot.

But be careful, keep your distance when you have to kill the bot because it will also one shot you with the gauntlet !

Evil Eye
Accumulate 100 Revenge Medals.

Gauntlet

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Space CTF (Important !)
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
• Maximum Players : 24

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

Let's start with the hardest part : Air Hammer achievement.

Just follow a bot VERY closely and jump on a springboard at the same time as it and try to kill it with the gauntlet. It will take several tries but on this map and with the command above, you should get there pretty quickly.

After that all you have to do is make at least 5 Gauntlet Frags in this same match and continue until you reach 50 Frags with the Gauntlet for the Fight Club achievement.


Advice

If you are not comfortable on this map to finish the 50 frags, you can restart a game with the same console command on another map you like (once Air Hammer achievement is done of course !)

The first rule of Fight Club is : You Do Not Talk About Fight Club !

	Air Hammer Frag an opponent with Gauntlet while both of you are in the air.
	Brawler Record 5 Gauntlet frags in one match.
	Fight Club Accumulate 50 Humiliation Medals.

Speed Kills

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard or Courtyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

g_speed 600; g_infiniteAmmo 1; g_startingWeapons 3; bot_gauntletOnly 1; g_damage_mg 500; g_damage_g 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1; addbot crash 1

Now run forward and kill a bot. If that doesn't work, try jumping forward several times and killing a bot mid-jump.

Speed Kills
Frag an enemy while moving at over 500 units per second.

CTF ~ 1st Match

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Capture the Flag
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard or Courtyard
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

g_speed 640; bot_gauntletOnly 1; g_damage_g 1; capturelimit 1; addbot crash 1 red

Run to the enemy base, take the flag and bring it back to your base. Gg ez !

Clutch
Win a Capture the Flag match by 1 capture, ending the match with your winning flag run.

CTF ~ 2nd Match

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Capture the Flag
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard or Courtyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
• Maximum Players : 24

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

Do what you want : Capture, Frags, Defense... But pay attention to your score (Press "Tab" to check it): try to get close to score 666. If you exceed it, use the "K" key ( self kill) to lower the score by 1 point each time.

If you gain some points from your bots teammates, you can kick them to be able to get a stable score :

kick ranger; kick ranger; kick ranger; kick ranger

Once the desired score is reached, enter the following console command (this will end the game):

timelimit 1

Wicked
Record a final score of 666 in Capture the Flag.

CTF ~ 3th Match

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Capture the Flag
  
• Map / Arena : Railyard (easier on this map)
  
• Match Type : Internet

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

g_speed 600; timelimit 200; capturelimit 100; g_damage_rg 500; g_damage_g 500; g_damage_mg 1; g_infiniteAmmo 1; g_regenHealth 1; g_regenHealthRate 1; addbot crash 1 red

Important : for this match, use the Railgun or the Gauntlet !


Start by completing the Miracle Maker Achievement, if you haven't done it before: stay close to the enemy flag (don't take it) and wait for the bot to take your flag and bring it back. As soon as he gets within about 1 meter of his flag, kill him. The announcer should shout, “Holy Sh*t!”
It doesn't matter if you don't succeed on the first try, you only need 2 to achieve the achievement.


Before continuing, kill the bot close enough to YOUR base at least 3 times to get 3 Defense Medals for Full House & Trifecta Achievements.


Now, you will have to follow a certain method :

• Go to the enemy base and stay in front of the flag (don't take it yet)
  
• As soon as the bot has taken your flag (this will be announced), take the flag and kill the bot
  
• Pass over your flag to collect it and drop off the enemy flag at your base !

After that you should get "Capture" and "Assist". If this is indeed the case, you just have to do this again until you reach 100 Capture and Assist medals.

If you're fine to accelerate the game, you can type the next command and the bot will be way more faster !

g_speed 800

	Miracle Maker Kill two enemy flag carriers moments before their cap in 1 game.
	Full House Earn at least 1 Capture, Defense, and Assist medal in a CTF match.
	Trifecta Earn 3 or more Capture, Defense, and Assist medals in a CTF match.
	Color Guard Accumulate 100 Capture Medals.
	Sidekick Accumulate 100 Assist Medals.

Idle Way for Frags Farm

For the next 2 sections (CTF ~ Last Match & Frags Farm), you can use this Idle Way on the map Courtyard.

When you spawn, you can turn around, enter the small hallway, and stay in the left corner. After that you just have to put your crosshair at the left of the door and make something to shoot non-stop (macro, hammer on your mouse, like you want haha)

You can also just hold the mouse button, open your Steam overlay, unpress your mouse button and close your overlay. You should continuously shoot, if you don't touch your mouse again.

Don't worry you have a huge regeneration, you will not die. And to make things more crazy, you can also type this command into the console and watch this speeeed !

g_speed 10000

CTF ~ Last Match

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Also check the Idle Way section.

Select these settings (Don't forget to set the Maximum players at 24 !) :

• Game Type : Capture the Flag
  
• Map / Arena : Courtyard (or whatever you like)
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
• Maximum Players : 24

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console and join the Blue team and press Ready :

g_speed 640; capturelimit 100; timelimit 100; bot_gauntletOnly 1; g_damage_g 1; g_damage_mg 500; g_infiniteAmmo 1; g_startingWeapons 3; g_regenHealth 1; g_regenHealthRate 1

Then type the following command few times (until it say "Unable to add bot" in red) :

Then, at the start of the match (after the game start countdown), press Esc, go to the Admin Settings and select each "Crash" Bots and move them to the opposing team (Red team if you're in the Blue team).

All you have to do is to take your machinegun, stay in your base and wait until the bots, which should be running at you, are close enough to your base to kill them and reach the 1,000 CTF Medals (with more than 100 Defense Medals aswell).

	Guardian Accumulate 100 Defense Medals.
	MVP Accumulate 1000 combined total Capture the Flag Medals (Capture, Assist, Defense).

Frags Farm

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Also check the Idle Way section.

Select these settings (Don't forget to set the Maximum players at 24 !) :

• Game Type : Free For All
  
• Map / Arena : Courtyard (Important !)
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
• Maximum Players : 24

Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

Then type the following command few times (until it say "Unable to add bot" in red) :

Here is the final match !

You should only be left with achievements relating to frags (and complete matches for the next section).

In this match, you regenerate instantly, the bots will run at you like like for "CTF ~ Last Match" and you should have a Rocket Launcher, a Railgun and a Machinegun with Unlimited Ammo !

All you have to do is farm what you need !

• Excellent Medals : Double Kills, you can spam kills non-stop, you will got it each 2 kills.
  
• Impressive Medals : Two Consecutive hits with the Railgun (with the Idle Way it's easy !)
  
• 500 Frags using the Rocket Launcher
  
• Reach 10,000 kills !

I recommend using the same Idle method as before and I'll give it to you below.

And I also recommend you to use the machinegun to find the 10,000 Frags.

	First Taste Accumulate 100 Frags.
	Hooked Accumulate 500 Frags.
	Fear Me Accumulate 1000 Frags.
	Vadri'gar Accumulate 10000 Frags.
	Hat Trick Record 3 Excellent medals in 1 game.
	2 in 2 Accumulate 250 Excellent Medals.
	Assassin Accumulate 250 Impressive Medals.
	Camper Record 15 or more frags in a single match with the Rail Gun.
	Rocket Man Accumulate 500 frags using the Rocket Launcher.

Matches Farm

Reminder : Restart the game if you already done a match.

Select these settings :

• Game Type : Duel (Really Important !)
  
• Map / Arena : Doesn't Matter at all !
  
• Match Type : Internet
  
  
• Map Pool : Duel (Really Important !)

We are finally at the end of this guide ! Only one last farm to do, but unfortunately the longest... Annnnd you can leave it running in the background 😉


Be careful you really have to select Game Type AND Map Pool on Duel ! This will allow the game to run and keep ready up for you.
If it makes sometimes to continue after your 1st match (with the right settings), it's normal, just Alt-Tab and do something else !


Before you go "Ready", enter this into the console :

sv_warmupReadyPercentage 0; g_doWarmup 0; g_warmup 0; g_voteFlags 2048

Now you just have to press "Ready" and Alt-Tab or do something else during the farm. It will take between 2 and 3 hours to reach the 1,000 matches completed. Check your game from time to time, because an internet disconnection or a map loading can lead to an error and you will have to completly restart the game.

Important : When it's finished, type this into the console to set the default settings (because this is saved when you restart the game)

For the 250/1000 matches, I found a better way to idle in case anyone is confused.
Match Type - Internet
Game Type - Team Deathmatch
When map is loaded, join it and paste these two separate commands into the console:
sv_warmupReadyPercentage 0
g_doWarmup 0
Once you paste and enter the commands, you automatically win a match when game starts so you can idle.
Be careful that game can sometimes have error when loading map without crashing the game. If map failed to load, restart the game again to make the achievements work.

For the Match Farming part you can quicken the completion speed by disabling the end game voting with:

set g_voteFlags "2048"

It lowers the match summary part to about 12 seconds instead of 19. Which in return should lower the completion time by about 2 hours.

Try to do the 10k Kills with the Idle way, you should get it in like 20min if it's not less or just let the game run with the matches farm

If like, in 1 or 2 hours to don't get anything, just go check the Fix Guide I've link and see how to delete your save, I think it will fix your problem

You can try to find your save folder and to delete your save maybe ? But I don't really know where it is and try to verify the game files or reinstall it

For which achievement ?
They are some problem with the Steam achievement tracker... I got the 250 matches achievement when I was stuck at 50 in Steam (so if it's for matches, try to wait some and to see if you get it or you can try to restart the game, disable Steam Cloud or try what RVK send)

For other achievement, I don't know, if you really restarted each time the game, you should not have any problems... You can check the Fix Guide I've linked at the top of this Guide to see if you can find something for your problem

But don't forget, restart your game after every matches (except for matches, it counts :D)

I tried farming matches and CTF captures, but it didn't work. Tried all the fixes mentioned and still nothing.. I've been trying this for years. Might just randomly work one day.. who knows.
