Metro 2033 Board Game [Scripted]

Description
This modification allows you to play Metro 2033 Board Game in Tabletop simulator. The scripting was added to improve gaming experience and speed up the game. The mod is based on Metro 2033 board game [RUS] (NO ENG) from BogdanWOOP https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1382408809

The game is partially scripted. What this means is you won't get a full automated game process here, but the mod introduces some useful scripted features, such as highlightion of possible hero/army moves, described in Scripted features section. You still need to know rules and make you moves according to them, the game don't have a control over your actions. Here you can find the rules in english: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/82719/rules-english-hobby-world.

More scripting is coming soon! I hope one day I will finally manage to get this mod fully-scripted. Let me know you suggestions / thoughts / questions in the comment section!
Mod Features
Environment features
  • Fraction boards

Each fraction has its own position on the table alongside with special board, where players can store their fraction / hero / equipment / completed quest cards and resources. Unfinished quests, scouting and battle cards should be hided from other players according to the rules, so players should store them in their hand (which is located behind the fraction board). Each type of card has its own place on the board. Some of the scripts check those places for enabling some of the scripted mod features, so be sure to put each item in correct place, determined by card / token silhouette on the board. Resources can be put in any slot in the resources zone, but it is recommended to put them in order shown on the board. This will allow other players to clearly determine how many resources of each type do you have.
  • Admin board

Admin board is a black board not associated with any player. The board holds start postitions of some of the game items and also discard area for each of the decks. Those places also marked with respective silhouettes.
Scripted features
Although the game process itself in not scripted yet, there are some actions have to be done in the beggining of the game to ensure all the scripts will later work fine for you.
  • Fraction selection
First, choose the color using Tabletop Simulator UI. The color represents fraction in the game and only players that have chosen the color of fraction can play the game. Only these colors are available and assigned to fractions: Green (Fourth Reich), Red (Red Line), Brown (Bauman Allience), Yellow (Bandits), Blue (Arbat Confederation) and Orange (1905 Confederation). Black color indicates admin, White and Grey - spectators. Also be sure to select your fractions according to the rules (1st player selects any color, then others can select only those that are adjacent to any of chosen ones). Stations that are in inactive zones will be unavailable to visit.
  • Hero assignment
After all players have selected their colors, they need to select hero as well. Hero selection should go according to the rules, counter-clockwise starting from the last player who selected the fraction. To select hero, choose any of the available hero cards, and put it in hero card area on your fraction board. After that you will automatically receive hero figure to your board as well. After this action hero becomes assigned to your fraction and hero figure receives color of your fraction. All scripts will now consider a hero to be a part of your fraction. You can now put you hero figure to any of your owned stations according to the rules. All unchosen heroes should stay in their respective positions on admin board (same goes for hero cards).
  • Hero deassignment
In case of any mistake being made or you simply want to change you hero or get rid of it for any reason (presumabely, not in the gaming process), you can also deassign your hero. In order to do that, you need to put your hero card back to hero card start zone on Admin board. Doing so will automatically place your hero figure back to Admin board as well. The color of figurine will also change back to default, indicating that hero was deassigned.
  • Fraction tokens
Fraction tokens are tokens you put on stations when you capturing them, and also on army and points tracks. You can get them from token bag located on your fraction board. Each token is scripted to automatically change state depending on its position. When you're placing token on valid station it automatically changes to match resource produced by station. Token will have your fraction symbol on it when placed on Polis stations or any location, that is not considered a valid station (on army and points tracks this is intentional and done in accordance to the rules). When token is located on valid station, it indicates that the station is owned by your fraction which will later be used by other scripts (f.e. possible army attacks highlightion). Players cannot and should not copy / paste the fraction tokens. New tokens should always be taken from token bag. However, players are allowed to delete their own token from the board (this should be used when player loses the station for any reason).
  • Army attacks highlightion
During army move phase, players can attack nearby stations with army to capture them. To help identify possible attacks this mod introduces moves highlightion feature. Each player has an "Attack" button in front of fraction board. When pressed, yellow circles will appear on game board indicating stations that are available for attack. The algorithm considers all possible scenarios described in the rules when looking for a move:
    1. Neigbouring stations (eigther by tunnel or by passage)
    2. Stations that are within 1 tunnel though Ganza line
    3. Stations that are within 1 tunnel though any of the Polis stations, if you have uncaptured neighbouring Polis station.
    4. Neighbouring and owned stations where enemy's hero is located
    5. If your hero has "locomotive" equipment card and stands on neutral station, that station and all nearby stations are also available for attack. ("locomotive" makes neutral station your hero standing on "yours")
    6. Ganza stations, abandoned stations and stations located in inactive zones are unavailable for attacks and won't be highlighted
Only one "Attack" button can be pressed at a time. If other player wants to highlight their moves, he must wait until previous player finish his move and presses the button again, which will clear the highlightion.
  • Hero moves highlightion
During hero move phase, heroes are allowed to travel though several stations, depending on their speed. All heroes have default speed of 3, but some equipment may buff or debuff it. When player picks up a figure, script will highlight possible moves for hero, considering all possible scenarios desribed in the rules:
    1. Hero can travel to any type of station, which is in distance of hero speed
    2. Both passage and tunnel travel reduce speed by 1
    3. Each "locomotive" equipment card gives +1 speed buff, each "RPK" equipment card gives -1 speed debuff
    4. Anna's hero ability allows her to skip travel through passages without losing speed
    5. Hero cannot move to stations located in inactive zones
When player drops a hero figure, script will count that as end of turn, so you should make your hero move in 1 "pick up". Station where hero has been picked from will be highlighted with green, so players can drop figure back if they change their mind in process or they are unsatisfied with camera angle.

Hope this helps clarify! You can also check videos attached to the mod to see mod features in action. Happy gaming!

@BT-7274 It is possible to play solo, only against tunnel threats. But the game will be quite easy then, since there is no loose condition. The game is mostly focused on competetive between players
