Mod Description
This mod adds the Commonwealth Minutemen at the height of their power. The Minutemen are a volunteer civilian militia, described as citizen soldiers banding together to protect themselves and their communities. Similar to the Minutemen of the Revolutionary era, the modern day group is focused on defending the people of Massachusetts, at a minute's notice. Being the closest thing to Police or Law Enforcement for your average wastelander, they are the ONLY faction to be in a constant state of endless warfare with every hostile force imaginable on behalf of any peaceful settlement that requests aid. Though the average citizen militiaman has little-to-no training, they have a near endless reserve of highly experienced fighters due to the wide variety of opponents and natural hazards they must constantly overcome. Despite having the most manpower of the local factions at the height of its power, and a distinct firepower advantage with their artillery, the constant state of attrition warfare would lead to many moral & supply issues. Nonetheless their rapid response and persistence provided enough security for the Commonwealth that most of the local settlements would not feel the need to expand & militarize that is all so common in other parts of the US.

Rising to prominence in 2180, they went on to play a major role in the region's politics, attempting to form the Commonwealth Provisional Government in the 2230s, but failed, and fell into decline following the loss of their headquarters The Castle (also known as Fort Independence) in 2240, and by 2287 had been nearly wiped out. The remnant militia forces would slowly come together under the leadership of their new general, a vault dweller known as the sole survivor, and would retake the fort and reform the militia.


Militia:
Comprised of volunteer civilian soldiers formed from local settlements, they make up the majority of the minutemen. Though lacking training and standardized equipment for the most part, their decentralized nature, knowledge of their local terrain, fluid defence, and constant warfare with the many dangers of the wasteland has lead them to become a quite adaptive and effective Quick Response Force.


Regulars:
They are a small but elite force comprising of the militias most dedicated & experienced veterans. More commonly referred to as "Militarized Minutemen", they do receive more standardized gear, though it varies depending on the region and the settlements that supply them. Unlike standard militiamen that go about their days as normal farmers or settlers and only assemble when the need arises, Regulars spend their time defending the Minutemen's most valuable installations and patrolling the most dangerous regions. Although not as quick to mobilize and respond to threats as the standard militia's, they are more organized & strategic, often able to drive stronger opposition into a route by outmanoeuvring them.


Snowshoemen:
Comprised of Regulars that specialize in winter operations, commonly referred to as "Winterized Minutemen". Highly experienced in winter survival skills, they are the only ones to reliably respond to distress calls or conduct long range patrols in extreme winter conditions.


Questions & Answers
Q: What is a alive faction mod?
A: It is a mod made using the ALiVE mod, all done ingame. It replaces the base units default loadout on spawn & initialization with the loadouts I have created, that is why you need the mod if you with to make changes. see last pic above to find out how.

Q: What maps did you use for the pics?
A: Pecher

Q: How do i adjust how many hits they take?
A: Its in the addon options, see 2nd last pic

Q: Why do they have a Laser RCW?
A: It is a replacement for the Thompson, its ment to act as a homemade laser assault rifle. I felt that made more sence then them having so WW2 sub machine guns.

Q: How do i spawn in the Minutemen flags & posters?
A: Place down a user texture, custom flag, or banner and in the path box type

this is just an alive faction mod, all assets come from the required mods, however this mod also adds minutemen custom flags explained in the last Q&A above

does this add custom vehicles and uniforms/weapons, or just compositions for spawnable NPC's?

@aleks.pon.10 they're from the mirage mod which is required for this mod

@Sammy/Blade theres been no updates to any of the mods, nothings changed. if some of the units arnt working best guess is your missing a mod or theres a mod conflict

Some of the outfits wont work, got all requirements, all loading, one is in Russian though and it still wont work.

Thank you for the extra information.

I will remove the PewPew Mod going forward, but this all had the Scion mod loaded and the Max Terminator mod. I even went through and tracked down every single required mod from your compositions thinking that might be the problem. I've installed all of the mods and they are loaded (I verified the mods were loaded multiple times)

And something weird I noted - the first time I loaded the mods, the New Vegas map had a modern looking map icon picture in the editor selection, in the second attempt the map looks like an ugly red. I think you're right and something isn't loading properly. Just means I have to track down that problem. Thank you so much for your help.

well i havent made some of those factions, yet, so cant speak for them but if theyre missing energy guns thats pew pew, couse of purge it hasnt been updated in forever & breaks alot of stuff / changes the classnames of some guns. i recomend not using it exept for some very specific senarios when needed (institue mode was made to still mostly work without it) or youll just have to manually replace their guns every time if you do. also jugin by the institue & minutemen guys in the pic your missin either mirage or project purity or both. arma isnt exactly known for its reliability, if your sure theyre installed then when in the main menu or editor check to make sure its actually loaded them.

also depending on what gen of synths you were trying to spawn your missing either terminator mod or sicon conflict. gen1 are terminators from terminator & gen2 are synths from sicon conflict

I know this screenshot won't mean much to you, but it is of units of the different factions, Great Khans seem to be fine, but Enclave, NCR, Children of Atom, Brotherhood of Steel, The Institute (especially the Coursers) etc, are not. (This is with pewpew mod installed)

I don't know I could have royally screwed it up that badly, but please if you find a few minutes, I am willing to accept I'm wrong and an idiot. I genuinely just want to enjoy the content.
