Character Shader Fix

This mod fixes the incorrect lighting that affects the player's character. This is extremely noticeable in the mission "A Pleasant Day" in which the player character picks up a newspaper.

Mod compatibility : Legacy Version of Saints Row IV

This mod replaces the default shaders.vpp_pc and needs to be installed differently.

1. Subscribe to the mod via steam workshop.

2. Once downloaded, navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\206420".

3. If you have a lot of mods, you will find a bunch of folders containing numbers as their name. To make the process faster, just search for "Character Shader Fix.vpp_pc".

4. Move the file "Character Shader Fix.vpp_pc" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Saints Row IV\packfiles\pc\cache".

5. Rename your original shaders.vpp_pc to shaders_orig.vpp_pc. The name doesn't matter. Name the file however you want just make sure you know that it's the original one.

6. Rename "Character Shader Fix.vpp_pc" as "shaders.vpp_pc".

7. Launch the game.
