Voxel Loco 'DF' 4D-7000

Introduction to R&D History：
The 'DongFeng' 4D radial bogie electric drive diesel locomotive, numbered 'DF'4D-7000 series, was modified by China's Dalian Locomotive Works based on the previously developed 'DongFeng' 4D diesel locomotive. It was successfully manufactured in 2000. There are 21 locomotives of this type, mainly used for mountainous and small radius railways. In 2006, due to various problems found in the steering mechanism of the radial bogie used for many years, all locomotives equipped with this type of bogie were returned to the factory for overhaul and replaced with ordinary bogies.
