Step 1 : Missions

For this farm you're gonna go ahead and find Eradicate missions.
This is a good farming technique for Warbond Medals as well!

There are types for each of the factions

  • "ERADICATE TERMINID SWARM"
  • "ERADICATE AUTOMATON FORCES"

I favor the Automaton eradication missions more as you get to do them faster and the map is a lot smaller.

Once you have found an Eradication mission, select the highest difficulty you have OR the highest difficulty you feel comfortable at / feel like you can do the fastest and keep doing these missions over and over in a loop. (<- This is important)

Step 2 : Loadout

What I typically run in these is : Rocket Sentry, Gatling Sentry, Autocannon Sentry and Mortar Sentry.

With all sentry stratagems, I try take care the most amount of small to medium targets while I rely on my team to take care of the bigger targets.

Currently I have found that this is the most optimal stratagem loadout for vast amount of difficulties across both types of missions. Eagle Airstrike, Orbital Laser, Mortar Sentry and Autocannon Sentry.

Eagle Airstrike is interchangeable with Eagle Cluster Bomb when fighting Terminids and either of the sentries are interchangeable with the Tesla Tower.
I have found this combination to work the best together.

Your Eagle's are used to destroy the medium targets or targets that have pushed up to far and your Orbital Laser is used when things get a bit too hectic. Place your sentries in high, hard-to-get positions. If you are using the Tesla Tower, place it in a common choke point where enemies go through.

This isn't the most optimal against the Automatons as the Gatling sentry shoots at their armor, ricochets off and then runs out of ammo, so now you're down a sentry. However, it's very effective against most Terminids.

❗ Do avoid fighting Automatons at higher difficulties at the moment, as it is nearly impossible to consistently do this in under 5 minutes. ❗

For Automatons
you can select the Tesla tower or the Anti-Personnel minefield stratagem and place it in one of the choke points, as you will get rushed by some units or alternatively, select an entirely different stratagem such the Railgun as it can 2-4 shot every automaton (or disable some by shooting off their arms)

For Terminids
it's a bit more flexible as you can equip Orbitals and Eagles to quickly disperse a good chunk of them. Dealing with Titans and Chargers can be done through the Railcannon orbital + Railgun combo. Leave the rest for sentries to deal with.

I also recommend using the HMG Emplacement, throwing it in a corner/hill where it has a clear view of everything. This especially helps missions nearing the end where all of the sentries either die or run out of ammo.

Step 3 : Closing thoughts / TL;DR

This can be done solo, yes, but with a team you can do is so much faster, so communicate and always have someone run some of the stratagems differently from rest of the team, in case all of the sentries run out of ammo and you should be on your way to farm experience really fast!

As for weapons
As long as you don't run something that absolutely cannot kill a thing and runs out of ammo fast, you're fine. Do however caution running any incendiary weapons and/or stratagems against Automatons, since they are very weak and does little-to-nothing.

EMS mortar can be used mid-to-end mission to help kill off the units that come close.

If you have done everything correctly, you should be finishing each mission in about 4-8 minutes depending on the difficulty.

TL;DR
Find Eradication mission and keep doing them in a loop

⚠️This guide is mainly catered towards lower level players who are struggling to level up⚠️

Quitting operations does not negatively impact progression, so don't feel bad about farming!
