Description
This is a size and performance accurate replica of the nova-C lunar lander by Intuitive machines.

The lander was launched on direct injection to the moon with a Falcon 9, the lander will attempt a soft lunar touchdown on the 22 of February, 2024.

This lander is the last in the trio of early 2024 landers, the peregrine had a propellant leak, the SLIM landed in its nose, Lets see what the nova-C does!

oh and the nova-C has the first methalox engine to be ignited in space.


(use the excess propellant in the falcon 9 second stage to start the transfer burns, the lander doesn't have enough propellant for all that.)

OK! it turns out i built the wrong lander! this is a concept art version and not the one that was built.

oh yeah i built that falcon 9 a year ago, but never uploaded it. it can do full powered landings and has active grid fins.
