It's been a while. The year is almost over.
Sorry. I wasn't able to finish the guide I promised. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, and I'm not skilled enough to teach it to others.
But instead I found a detailed and useful tutorial on modding the X4 universe by enenra.
You may already know this, have solved your problem, or maybe you're no longer with X4.
So I felt bad that I couldn't keep my promise, so I thought I should at least point you to a tutorial by a better modder.
I honestly don't know if it's a good or bad thing to give people a link without asking the author of the tutorial, but here's the URL.
Thanks to enenra.

Thank you. I'll definitely check your guide.
I have edited many mods so far but only to the limit of my capability of understanding. Your guide will be a great help.
It may take a little more time than just creating a mod, but I'm going to use a Steam guide to summarize how to create a mod to the best of my knowledge.
You can do it more freely than writing in this comment section or chat, and it should be easier to review later.
Maybe it will give people who aren't interested in mods a chance to try making one.
Is that okay?
I'll be looking forward to it.
Actually I have been checking the code ppl made for new gate connection for a while but never been able to create one myself.
It is my wish to streamline the distance between the two free sectors - Farnham's Legend and Nopileos' Fortune.

I'm sorry that I wrote it a little badly.
Once again, when commenting, I would appreciate it if you could clearly state whether you are requesting a mod, an update, or a question.
Based on that, I will decide whether it is possible or whether I want to do it.
I understand his request. You can also make mods with that content.
However, I wanted to say that connecting the gates is a bit of a hassle, so it would be a nuisance if you just write down your requests and ideas and leave.
If you want a mod, you can either make it yourself or tell them the content and ask them to make it for you.
In the end, he only wrote the content and did not write that he wanted it to be made.
I'm not a machine, so I just don't want to work hard for something I'm not even asked to make.
