Puerto Cisnes

Welcome to the Chilean Patagonia! Puerto Cisnes is a map resembling the topography of the Chilean city of the same name. Located in the XI Region, of Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo, between the majestic Andes Mountain Range and the many fjords that make their way into the mainland.

Layout

The map is intended to be played on the entirety of the central 25 tile area. It is possible to also use the whole 81, however, due to the mountains and water features it's not encouraged.

Visuals

All screenshots were taken in-game using no fog, and the Theme Mixer Mod.

This map uses the custom Patagonia Map Theme. Link to the workshop

You can of course, play this map without any of these textures / themes and you won't encounter any problems!

Extra commentary...

You will need traffic manager for the premade intersections to work. Since I wanted to recreate the small and recondite vibe of the original area, I decided not to build huge 6 lane freeways, therefore the smaller national roads.

The highway intersections have been painted w/ intersection marking tool, so I recommend using that as well :)

This map is inspired by a personal trip to the Patagonia, I've been playing CS for a while, and with a bit more time on my hands I decided to embark on this little project.
The vegetation and foliage on that region is extremely dense, making it impossible to recreate with the limited amount of trees one is allowed place on the editor.
