Battlestar Galactica - Hybrid raider

Non-cannon lore :

A Cylon missing link, yet another proof of Humanity's lacking knowledge of it's own creation's nature, yet another step between Machine and Man.

The Hybrid Raider represents the evolution of the now obsolete First Cylon War Raiders, although still requiring a pilot, the ship is now semi-autonomous.
The Cylon's early development of their advanced computer network has been implemented in the Raider's systems, allowing the pilot to interface with the ship itself, granting faster responses to combat situations and more reactive manoeuvers, both the operator and the vessel essentially working as one.



The Hybrid Raider relies on it's speed, agility and versatility, capable of pursuing and taking down fast-moving targets using it's duo of Gatling Guns, engaging larger ones from a safe distance thanks to it's two Assault Cannons, or fast attack runs with it's quadruple Rocket Launchers.

It also features a survival kit and a sufficient cargo space for ammunitions, or even cargo transportation, albeit lacking sufficient capacity for large deliveries.
