DE Tram | Skoda ForCity Smart Bonn (Skoda 41T)

SWB Bus und Bahn awarded the contract for 26 ForCity Smart vehicles to the Skoda Transportation Group at the end of 2019. Two more vehicles were reordered in 2022. In the future, the 28 new trams will be used on lines 61, 62 and 65 in Bonn. The first Skoda trains were delivered in 2023 and are undergoing test runs on the Bonn route network as part of the commissioning process. Further vehicles will gradually follow and replace the old R1.1 vehicles.
