Antiquity 356 BC - The Rise of Makedon 3.0

Description
This is a historically accurate mod that focuses on the Rise of Makedon under King Philip II and of the conquest of the Persian Empire under Alexander the Great. The mod uses the WoS expansion pack for its campaign.

The year is 356 BC and King Philip II has been on the throne of Makedon for three years. During this time, Philip has revolutionised the Makedonian military through the implementation of strategic assets such as the Pike Phalanx, Agrarian Light Infantry, Heavy Cavalry and Siege Equipment. With this new model army, Philip intends to conquer all of Hellas, and then extend his attention east over the Aegean Sea to conquer the Achaemenid Persian Empire. Will Philip and his successors succeed in their ambitions ?...time will reveal all in the Rise of Makedon.

This is Total War 356 BC on the WoS Campaign Map

List of Changes:

- Historically accurate starting positions reflecting the Greek World in 356 BC
- Historically accurate Argead dynasty Makedonian family tree featuring Philip II and Alexander
- Transferred Grand Campaign Macedonian units to the Makedon faction in the WoS Campaign
- No civil war for the Makedonian faction
- More changes to improve game play

Final note: I'm working on various mod projects for Atilla for my 'Dark Ages' series, I have ambitions to cover important dates and periods throughout the Dark Ages via modding the TW Atilla Grand Campaign. The latter projects from AD 705 onwards will import all units from the Age of Charlemagne expansion pack and additional new units into the game.

These projects I plan to create are as followed:

- Dark Ages AD 533 - Renovatio Imperii
- Dark Ages AD 622 - Clash of Empires, Rise and Fall
- Dark Ages AD 705 - Age of Justinian II and the Byzantine-Arab Wars
- Dark Ages AD 768 - The Age of Charlemagne
- Dark Ages AD 867 - The Age of Vikings
- Dark Ages AD 976 - The Age of Basil II

Please support me by donate any amount you like to me via my Paypal to reward me for my hard work creating mods for TW Atilla and Rome 2. I am also available to create mods on request in exchange for a reasonable negotiable fee.

That's it folks, enjoy and leave a review - and as always - thanks for the support.

Two things I noticed, would you consider adding political parties for Makedon and would you give the Thracian faction leader a more barbarian look? He looks Greek.

@GL56 yes, Thureos and Thorax units do not belong in 4th Century Greece. Also the starting positions have a lot of inaccuracies

Orion the dev is known for preaching a lot about "historical accuracy" in his mods when generally aren't overhauled that much from vanilla which as we all know is so accurate /s.

is that possible to make the persian faction more powerful and agrresive? they are weak in WOS campaign

Greek units for Macedon. No victory conditions. Nothing to get carried away.
