Resident Evil Style Saving - Ink Ribbons

Information

Hello there!

This is a Work-In-Progress mod that removes the Save-lamp feature and instead replaces it with the all too iconic "Typewriter Ink Ribbon" system. This functions identically to Shellshock difficulty's "Saving Costs Fuel", however instead of using fuel, it uses a dedicated new item Ink Ribbons!

Animations in this mod are extremely basic for holding the Ink Ribbon, my plan is animate it all from scratch which has worked so far, however I couldn't get it working well enough for time of this first release window.

Also, the model the Ink Ribbons use is temporary, as it was lifted straight from "Resident Evil: 2 Remake". I plan on modelling my own from scratch, and making it more lore-accurate.

Right now this is NOT COMPATIBLIE with the Survival Mod Overhaul. I plan on releasing a compatibility patch specifically for that mod, but until then please do not try to play with both mods enabled!

i loved playing with this before but it is unfortunately out of date enough to crash on startup for me, eagerly awaiting and update tho :))

Very useful mods for those who want it.

I would just like to share my opinion that what i dislike the most about old RE games is the fact you have to use ink to save which means you gotta play for longer than you actually want to.
