Wonders of the Atomic Age

Description
This mod adds the Los Alamos Laboratory, home to the USA's nuclear program, to the game as a Wonder.

Founded in 1942 in the early days of the Manhattan Project, the Los Alamos National Laboratory, under conditions of intense secrecy, formed the core of American nuclear weapons research. Built atop a high mesa in Los Alamos, New Mexico, the site spent most of its operational lifespan under heavy guard; conditions of secrecy were so strict that even other groups associated with American national defence were either unaware of its existence or ignorant of its true purpose. It was host to thousands of employees, including many of the greatest Nobel Prize-winning physicists of its era.

The Los Alamos Laboratory is a Wonder designed to turn a city into a high-powered scientific hub, suitable for the development of atomic technology, at the cost of its growth and cultural developement. Unlocked at Atomic Theory with the Freedom ideology, it provides a +25% bonus to Science, a +15% bonus to Production, 1 free unit of Uranium and 3 points/turn towards a Great Scientist. However, it also reduces the city's Culture, Gold and Growth rates by 15% across the board.

Ya, I looked it up, thats Oak ridge alright lol. If I recall correctly I actually met one of the people in the picture irl lol. I live within driving distance of the Oak Ridge facility and they actually had a historical tour thing one year. Pretty cool place!

Yes, I'm almost positive it was taken in the calutron ( or however you spell that ) room of the Oak Ridge facility. It's been awhile since I toured that building and saw the pictures and stuff so you might confirm before scrambling to find a new one. :)

Oh, crap, it isn't?

...Well, guess it's time to find some new art. Thanks for letting me know!

Incidentally, the picture you have up isn't of Los Alamos, that picture was taken at the Oak Ridge facility. :)

Cool mod, though! I'd try it out, but I'm a purist and never use mods lol.

At last someone remembered Los Alamos! The penalties are quite harsh though.
