1987 Pegaso Tecno 87 1234.38T

Description
I present to you a 1987 Pegaso Tecno 87 1234.38T, a beatiful Spanish tractor truck equipped with a 340cv Turbo engine, a 8 speed Fuller gearbox, and large cabin.
Apart from that, the truck comes with a full custom lightning setup, the posibility to overheat, openable doors and semi-detailed interior.

When first getting into the truck, you'll notice a blinking STOP light and a warning chime. you can turn off the chime with the first button to your right. This is due to the truck having no air in the system, wait for a bit and it should go away, unlocking the brakes.

As for controls, button below the chime one turns on your rear foglights, X (Disable steering) turns on your parking lights, L (Headlights) turns on you headlights (duh), and B (Beacon) turns on your high beams. The wipers are turned on with the button on the steering column (They have to speeds, press the button until the orange lamp turns on, and it'll be on the "slow" position, hold it down for a bit longer and it'll be on the "fast" position). The two other buttons on the dashboard are free for all your shenanigans.

If you drive over 60km/h constantly, be careful as the truck may overheat. Once it overheats the stop lamp and warning chime will turn on, if so stop the truck completly and wait for the light to turn off. If you keep driving for too long, with the stop lamp on the engine might ♥♥♥♥ itself.

Bit of history about the Tecno series, extracted from transgrafi.blogspot.com:
"In 1983 Pegaso launched a new series called T1. This is an update to their range of trucks
heavy and semi-heavy The denominations change, which are now related to the configuration of the y model
engine power. Thus, the 1231T refers to a tractor (T) with two axles, one driven (12) with the 310 CV engine (31). In the cabin the most significant changes are found in the front with a grille that
abandons the typical cross, and in the interior, modernized and with new style. In the mechanical section, the disappearance of the 260 CV and 352 CV stands out, focusing the heavy range on versions of the 12 l engine. with 280 and 310 CV. Another important factor was
Pegaso's collaboration with ZF and so this range has gone on to incorporate the 16-speed gearbox of that brand
as standard equipment, and optional Fuller gearboxes, disappearing the 8-speed Pegaso gearbox. others
important mechanical aspects are the incorporation of shock absorbers and stabilizer bars in the driving axles
of vehicles with a rear axle and the adoption of disc rims with 315/80R 22.5 tires, although it remains
the option of artillery rims.
In 1985, the T2 series appears, commercially denominated TECNO. There are many changes and novelties. the large cabin increases its dimensions, the length increases by 15 cm, and the ceiling rises over its entire surface, and not
only in the rest area, providing greater interior space. Now the front overhang is 1,475 mm.
A new tube appears for air intake behind the cabin. In the mechanical section, the incorporation stands out
of the intercooler that increases the power of the 12 l engine. up to 340 hp. However, Pegaso continues to offer
the engine without this element, only with turbo, with 310 CV. The appearance of parabolic crossbows should also be highlighted
as standard equipment.

In 1987 Pegaso updated its TECNO range. There are some changes in the cabin equipment (adjustable steering wheel,
new clutch pedal, roll-up sun visors...). The biggest difference is in the image of the cabin, totally
white and with the decorative details of the horses on the sides, adopting the style of the new Troner range.
In 1989 ENASA launched the MIDER series within the TECNO range. MIDERs are configured as dedicated trucks
to medium distances in distribution work, trying to reduce the tare of the vehicles to increase their load
useful There are a series of aesthetic changes in the cabin (grinder, headlight border, cabin step area...). At the
usual white for the Pegaso cabins, a colorful red color with decorative bands is added. mechanically
highlights the incorporation of a version of the 10.5 l engine. with turbo and intercooler that develops 256 HP. In 1231T
it was equipped with the 12 l. engine, which with turbo and intercooler offered 306 HP of power."

Bento, the speed of the actuator itself doesn't change. The wipers have two speeds, on the first it turns on intermittently, and on the second one it's on constantly. I hope this helps

I don't understand the speed system, I press it and nothing changes, it just turns on the orange button and nothing happens

Although the system i have now is actuator based, i want to change it to be solid state, opens up a world of oportunities

Thank you both. I can assure you covet more PEGASOS are coming to the ws...

Also, aclements, this really just was a way to use the stop thing more lol. I had initially planned to make it need air every time you got in, but the sensor i used to detect the player failed a bit.

I got two buses in the making, and both of em will have a full on air system, both for brakes and suspension

Amazing work!

One of the lesser known Euro truck brands, so it's great to such a good example in Br!
