Manage several lines that converge at the two major stations in NYC: Grand Central Terminal and NY Penn Station. Loosely based on the prototype, there are several interesting junctions and enough room to setup shunting mechanics throughout the map where Regional trains will take intermission! Starting near the middle of the map, one may choose to first focus on Freight or Regional traffic to get the early Red Experience.

Beginners Tips
Starting with the Mets-Willets Point to Woodside route, expand to full double track and begin adding more commuter contracts. There is plenty of starting money, but save it up to expand after auto-blocks have been unlocked. Here are three suggestions on your first expansion:

1) Extend to NY Penn and Secaucus. This is more expensive than some other options, but it will allow setting up more commuter and Regional contracts fairly easily. The next logical expansion will be to Jamaica and unlock more border stations.

2) Unlock the central area of Freight stations. Expansion to 65th St Yard will generate some high reward Freight contracts and you'll be able to fund further passenger lines with ease. The generation of Red Experience will let you unlock some shunting upgrades before you add your first Regional train a little bit later. Keep in mind, you'll still need to make a fair amount of Green Experience to unlock more stations, so don't over expand the Freight network just yet!

3) Extend to Jamaica and start unlocking the border stations in Long Island one at a time. Make Jamaica a hub for Commuter and Regional trains. Money and experience will start rolling in quickly!
