[ANP] BM:S H.E.C.U. Marines

Description
Description:
H.E.C.U. Marines which I've tried recreating in GMOD using the Combine AI. They come in both Hostile and Ally variants. DEV or x86 versions of the game are required for some of the features.

Shared:
  • Helmets are taken into account, marines with them equipped will receive less damage when shot in the head,

  • They can and will gib from specified damage types, some damage types require higher damage to do so,

  • They speak like in the game,

  • They come with both hostile and ally variants, hostile may be found under the Black Mesa category, friendly can be found under Humans + Resisntace,

  • MP5 and SPAS-12 come with alternative fire modes which can and WILL be utilized by NPCs,
Grunt:
  • Your typical cannon fodder,

  • Comes equipped with MP5 by default,
Shotgun Grunt:
  • Your typical cannon fodder, but this time will try to walk all over you,

  • Slightly higher health to compensate for short-range and aggressive combat style,

  • Comes equipped with SPAS-12 by default,
Medic:
  • Lower health,

  • Can and will try to heal other allies by walking up to them,

  • Comes equipped with MP5 by default,
Sniper:
  • The lowest health of the bunch,

  • Long range combat specialist,

  • Comes equipped with M40A1 by default,

snpc with a shotgun has a reload animation like smg

Posting some weird behaviour bugs. When the BM Combine version of this addon kills the ZBase version of the BM Grunt, all ANP BM NPCs will face their back and look down on the floor. They won't engage the ZBase NPCs, or any other NPCs for that matter and will stay like this until they are dead.

I really can't remember off hand; are there custom models in this addon?..or are they all already pre-existing models from the base game?

I like this mod, but for some reason when I gib them there's missing textures on the gibs. I don't have any other issues, though

Hey, a little tidbit but is it normal that ANP Black Mesa units deal 0 damage against Combine NPCs from ZBase. I've tested this alot and they deal 0 damage, even with explosives.

It needs engineer(and sentry) from opposing force and cut from the original game minigunner and then it will be perfect

This addon is great! It functions pretty good compared to the original black mesa NPC in the standard game, and compared to the Old VJ Base addon with the HECU NPCs from BM, it is a very nice step up.

Hey Filzo, a bit of a suggestion: maybe you could try adding extra weapons from this NPC Weapon addon for more weapon variety the soldiers can use. Thanks.

I have the same problem as the person below their animations don't seem to work correctly in multiplayer
