You can use this radar to trigger custom made missiles. To do that you just have to connect the radar via the small connectors on the side to a staion, a ship or a module that can fire or print missiles. Then find in the terminal the timer block called "Radar Timer Block 01 on detection" and clic "set up action" and add in a free case the timer block that triggers your missiles/printer.
