Description
Play as the founder of the Kingdom of Pamplona, Eneko Aritza; in Sid Meier's Civilization VI.

The isolated Basques sprung up from the humble beginnings of farmers hugging the foot of the Pyrenees. Their early predecessors, the Vascones, were first subjugated under Pompey the Great. Roman meddling in the affairs of these farmers and fishermen was kept at a minimum; however, the fall of the Roman Empire opened up the Vascones to three powerful peoples: the Visigoths, the Franks, and the Arabs. During the age of Charlemagne the Vascones proved to be formidable fighters and it was this fury that was kept by the Basques who assembled in the northeast of Spain and south of France. The Basques often acted as kingmakers in both the courts of France and Spains with various descendants rising through the aristocracy in both countries, some even ascending as sovereigns. Despite the successes of these nobles, merchants, and fishermen, they culture was pushed out of Gascony and now their population is largely restricted to Spain. Their small homeland did not deter these brave explorers, as the Basques were the first of Europeans to hunt the ominous whales of the Atlantic. Basque fishermen could be found from the Straits of Magellan to Newfoundland to Iceland.

Remember that to support a modder the first thing to do is like or dislike: it's free, it's quick, and it pumps the star rating.

An alternative fix would be to unsubscribe from Steam and manually download off Nexus Mods, @Younesmegou12. It might work, it might not. If it does work than it is an issue with the Workshop.

@Strudeler of the Tart Society, I haven't used any mods on the granary, and it was on a brand new save without loading. The files don't show any line of code or error.
The Baserri has simply not worked (it was my first game with it so there isn't really a precedent), but the rest of the mod works well: I got the whale ressource, the Navarrese company can attack both in melee and distance, the culture bombs work...
All the mods I have installed when starting this game were working well, and I always take away the mods that don't work.
The monthly updates also didn't create any problems.

I tried Baskonia again, @Younesmegou12. The Baserri is working for me as intended just as it appears in the screenshots.

    Let's start with these questions:
Do you have other mods on; any that change the Granary?
Have you loaded any saves (if loading can break UI then maybe it can break the Baserri)?
Do your log files describe any invalid or erroneous lines of code?
    Has the Baserri worked previously?
Have there been other mods you have played that have broken recently?
Are there other aspects of Baskonia that are not working (culture bomb from Fishing Boats, Navarrese Company, bonus Whales, etc.)?
Have the monthly challenge updates been causing issues (sometimes any update from Firaxis can cause havoc)?
Have you recently verified the integrity of game files (sometimes Firaxis updates can alter the core of the game in unintended ways)?

Hi, I've been playing this civ and I noticed that the unique building didn't actually do what it was supposed to? You can build it without a granary, and it doesn't actually give bonus food to fishing boats and farms.

I've said as much privately but your Don Quixote mod is my absolute favourite. Anyone reading this should go download it because Strudeler's hero units are the coolest.

Also I've been harassing him to add more hero units but he won't do it.

Of all your mods I like Argentina the most, followed by Aragon, Naples, Portugal, California, Britons, Canton Castille and Baskonia. Thanks for continuing to create content for the community!

It is now 2024 and, had I been insane enough, I could have released something else but, thankfully, Baskonia is the last mod of the year. What was everyone's most loved and most loathed mod I put out in 2023? I think updates to older mods also count.

Great mod as always! I can't wait to see what you have in storm in the future, your civs are always a lot of fun.

Thank you for your kind words, @Pitu_Chulipiruli. You may recall that I release mods sporadically and I cannot guarantee when I will release the next Iberian civilization. Your proposal for Aisha al-Hurra is being considered.
