AP-25 'Puffin' Career Starter Plane (Revised again)

Description
Costs Under 15000 Stormworks Money

The Puffin is a twin-engine, high-wing utility plane with STOL capabilities. It has 6 passenger seats (excluding the pilot), very fuel efficient 5-cylinder diesel engines, lots of equipment and over 400L of diesel.

In addition it is fitted with lots of redundancy, of course 2 engines, with manual crank starters, and for engine 1 a manual fuel pump, for starting off of a flat battery. However there is a reserve battery fitted, to tie it to the main battery there is a breaker behind the pilot's seat near the floor.

It is perfect for transporting passengers to remote destinations, and also suitable for small items of cargo such as crates.

Operation
Rotation Speed (take-off): 75 Knots
Flap Setting (take-off): 5-10

Approach Speed (landing): >90 Knots
Flap Setting (landing): 10-15

Very easy to fly, stalls at about 80 Knots, landing is easy if, and only if, you maintain the correct speed.

When using altitude hold, remember to get close to your desired height before enabling it.

I intended it more for cargo/passenger transport missions rather than search and rescue. I have a SAR seaplane in the works...

Can it land on water. Feels like it'd only be useful for career mode that way

Naturally, whilst focusing on routing pipes for complex manual starting systems, I forgot the humble re-fuelling and re-charging points. Find them on opposite sides of the updated version, on the supports for the main wheels.

question where is the port for the fuel hose i cant find it

Usually happens when stabilizers or other PID systems are moving when not needed, IE landed.

Thank you! The breaker for the reserve battery is located at the base of the pilot's seat, this was included for this reason. Not sure what bleeds the main battery, but there is also manual equipment for starting the engines as a double back-up.

This handles so much better now. Much less touchy, easy to set, take off and landings are far less harrowing. Excellent job EVO!

Only suggestion I could give is maybe a breaker to disconnect the battery when being stored for short periods, as there is something in the background eating through the battery power. Not a concern when flying, but after engine shutdown, you'll bleed the battery fairly quickly.

Awesome, will test it out, happy new year!

Altitude hold and roll stabiliser added, after a very frustrating pid-tuning session.

You can change the sensitivity of the controls on the seat. I will do the same for the workshop version of the plane, also with the new systems such as altitude hold.
