Retro Racers (Frogger '97)

Description
Updated 06/03/24: It actually looks like Frogger now!

A recreation of the Retro stages from the PS1 Frogger game. Maneuver through obstacles to maintain control over more capture zones than your opponents.

Rounds are short, and once a round ends, the layout of the obstacles will change, reflecting the 5 Retro levels seen in the original game.

Credits:
-Map geometry, logic, etc., fully built by me.
-Models rigged and reanimated in Blender by me.
-Custom assets imported by me.
-Special thanks to Tumby for creating the cubemap for the water (and helping me troubleshoot a bunch of other stuff).
-All the other people over at TF2Maps who offered suggestions and helped me solve issues.

And a big shoutout to Kneesnap for developing FrogLord, which allowed me to obtain the assets from and accurately replicate Frogger's levels. This wouldn't be possible with it.

Super appreciate yours comments on this! Unfortunately some computer troubles really put a dent in the work I wanted to do on this project. Part of my plans included a gameplay overhaul, as it admittedly was not the primary focus of this draft. I'm getting back into the swing of things again, so hopefully I'll be able to address some key issues.

Also you should add the level themes from the PS1 game into this.

Oh and one more thing, to better recreate the way that the PS1 game worked. The player should be teleport ed back to their spawn after capping, and capping should be nearly instantaneous.

There is a bit of an exploit that lets you jump to each of the frogs once you get to the end.

Its actually a really faithful recreation of the PS1 game.
My only two criticisms is that it will probably be unplayable with more than two players due to how wide open it is. I think it should probably have medieval mode or something to mitigate that issue.

There is a really big problem with landing on the turtles that can make the map almost impossible to complete. Their collisions are in a way that makes landing on them difficult without accidentally sliding off. I also think that the height of the logs, turtles, and alligators should be lowered slightly to ease with platforming, since it is kind of hard to gauge distances in first person.

Just another thing, I think it would probably be a more interesting map if some of the hazards killed you instantly.
