Description
Expanded Biotech Style Genes(EBSG) is the step beyond More Biotech Style Genes. Where that series sought to expand ranges that already exist, this series seeks to add ranges that should exist. You get gene ranges that alter sleep fall rate, but why not a range for changing the rate it recovers? If you can have fire resistance genes, why not have genes to resist other types of damage like frostbite and acid?

Sometimes, things are born. They live, and then they stop. Forever. I've added a bunch of genes that let you alter the second half of that reference, and this mod seeks to help you with the first. It adds 8 new pregnancy speed genes that multiply pregnancy speed by 25%, 50%, 75%, 150%, 200%, 250%, 300%, 350%, and 400%. It also includes 12 options for altering fertility by age, with two of them being gene versions of the mods Always Fertile and Always Very Fertile.

HAR Compatability Note: I don't know if the fertility extension/shortening genes are compatible with HAR races due to me having no clue if they use the same system as vanilla in the backend. If they aren't compatible, then I'm afraid I have no solution for you, and would like to extend my apologies for the disappointment.

Note: If you're picking an aging fertility extension based on the lifespan factor of your xenotype, ranges are included in the gene descriptions. If your factor falls between two genes, pick whichever one of those two that you believe fits the xenotype more.

Note for modders: If your lifespan factor is high enough to warrant a major or greater fertility extension, it is recommended to give those pawns special pawn kinds so you can have them spawn with age ranges that are much higher. The stranger in black is a good example of setting both in one pawn kind.

Included in Expanded Biotech Style Genes - All in One.

It's definitely possible, but not something I would add to this mod because that fundamentally changes AG's asexual reproduction, and there are too many other mods with variations of asexual reproduction genes in them to have it add value in this one.

would an ability to trigger asexual reproduction be possible? (instead of having it just be constantly ongoing?)

Dope mod. Was very annoyed when my non-senescent pawn turned infertile just because she turned 50...

Yup, it's just referring to the immunity gain speed stat itself, which lowers with old age. You can find those genes in the health section, or just use the power of semi-nonsensical science to handle the issue.

Oh nvm it's about immunity gain speed against diseases

Okay soooo, i'm gonna ask what's probably a stupid question.... But ! In the "always very fertile" gene description it says:

"They will still lose immunity gain speed at the normal rate,so if this is to be attached to an extremely long lived xenotype, it is recommended to add an immunity gain speed"

Are you talking about immunity against diseases or some other paramater related to pregnancy that changes with age ?

Sweet. Makes it way easier to keep my mods in working order.

Yup. If you have the all in one you can pretty safely ignore all the individual releases since all they will do is inform you of what has been added to the all in one.
