2B from Nier Automata is joining Yomi Hustle!

This was a collaboration with the great Violetite and Nuion. This was made possible as a comission by Neon Nya.
Violetite did all the sprites and icons.
Nuion did the coding, balancing and engine stuff.


Machina is an all rounder with a unique move set allowing for creative combo routes and frame traps. Most of her moves are heavily disjointed and require precision to pull off. She is accompanied by 3 different "followers" her 2 swords "Virtuous Treaty" and "Beastlord" as well as her "Pod". The swords are purely visual but recreate the functionality within Nier Automata. The Pods placement only matters during ranged attacks.

- She uses her light sword the "Virtuous Treaty" for fast and agile attacks.
- For her heavy weapon she wields the "Beastlord" sword, with slow but high damaging moves.
- Utility wise she has her trusty "Pod", a small flying robot that accompanies her firing ranged attacks.

Machina is a new take on aerial combat, her attacks lock her into place to do devastating aerial combos. This is very similar to how 2B works in Nier Automata.

MOVESET

Normals

Twin Slash (f5, f10) - Your bread and butter good overall damage and speed to win neutrals and extend combos.

Horizon Slicer (f10, f16) - Heavy Sword spin with 2 strong hits while moving backwards.

Twirl (f7, f11, f15, f19, f23, f27) - A light gap closing multi hit move, she first moves backwards and then forwards at high speeds, allowing for defensive and offensive options within the same attack.

Blade Dance (f14,f20,f25) - Three hits, Heavy, Light, Heavy. This move does huge amounts of damage.

Rising Spiral (f9,f14,f19) - Heavy rising attack, dragging the enemies up, this move has complex hitboxes with sweet and sour spots rewarding precision.

Kick (f8) - A simple short range kick to launch the opponent upwards.

Specials

Distant Slam (f11) - A long range heavy slam to extend combos and initiate ground bounces onto the opponent, has guard break.

Cleave (f10,f12...) - Aerial - Heavy aerial spin into slamming down with the sword until you reach the ground. This is a unique move that can be used in various ways but allows to drag the opponent back towards the ground and follow up with another attack.

Spinning Toss (f10, f11...) - Machina tosses her light sword forward creating a short time multi hit hazard.

Laser (f50) - Command your robot to attack with a short range multi hit laser. It tracks at the beginning of the move.

Heel Guillotine - (f5) - Aerial - A hit grab using her heel. Once grabbed she will fly with the opponent all the way to the ground with a big slam impact.

Supers

Charged Laser - 2 bars - (f50) - Command the Pod to attack using a long range Laser.

Mirage - 3 bars - (f14, f16, f18, f20, f22, f24) - Machina disappears to unleash a strong multi hit flurry around her.

SELF DESTRUCT - 5 bars - (f20) - A huge self destructing blast. This move will always leaves Machina with 1HP and a regenerate aura that heals her 500 hit points over time. This is a very risky move.

Utility
Perfect Dode - (f4-f10) - Super Armor counter that freezes enemy when hit. She still takes damage.
