121 Deployable Spotting Scope

Summary
Originally created for Task Force 121 to supplement the USASOC Sniper Rifles. This mod introduces an ACE deployable and adjustable spotting scope to Arma. The scope is based on the Leupold Mark 4 12-40x spotting scope with a Horus TREMOR4 reticle. Note that you will need BOTH spotting scope (in binocular slot) AND tripod (in misc items) to deploy spotting scope as a tripod!


Usage
From Arsenal
- Add [121] Vortex Summit Carbon II Tripod to inventory (Misc items)
- Add [121] Leupold Mk4 Spotting Scope to binocular slot or inventory (Binoculars)
- ACE Self Interact > Equipment > Deploy Spotting Scope
- ACE Interact tripod to pick it back up again
- Q and E keys to lower/extend tripod

From Zeus/Eden Editor
- Item can be found under NATO - Turrets - [121] Leupold Mk4 Spotting Scope


Known Issues
- Models are fairly high poly - efforts were made to optimize through aggresive LODs but expect some degree of performance drop
- The scopes are NVG capable for now as clip-on NVG devices are still WIP

@Eddy let me brainstorm about that for a bit. At the time I set the extension based on what I thought would be the physical length of each extension that would fit when stowed, but I thought it was a little low too. I'll probably look into extending the length as a QoL change even if it isn't realistic...

Really Nice work. Is there any plan to make the bipod more extendable ? For working in buildings the tripod is to low most of the time.

Having an issue where when putting in inventory. Ace Self interact wont show any option for the tripod?

@richh773 that is the plan is to add an ACE interaction for clip-on NVG, but I am doing that for the Sniper Rifle pack first and I don't think I'll have enough time to implement it for the spotting scope for I leave for travels

It is not Illuminated but does allow a clip on NV device on the extending rail in the front.

@Sulcs that might be a good idea, I'll do that in the next update. IDK if the scope has a red dot IRL but I am still not sure how the tremor 4 reticle works and why the crosshair is 5 mrads offset from the centre

Great work! Is there a way to toggle a red dot in the middle of the scope? It seems a bit counter productive to kind of guess if you've got the range of the target or the ground in front or behind it
