Hey guys, I see both of your points and I think you both care about the game in your own way—which is great.

Personally, I do think some balance is necessary. Letting every overpowered combo slide can make the experience less enjoyable for the whole lobby. So yeah, some restrictions do make sense.

That said, I also believe the way we express those concerns matters. We can have different opinions without turning it into a personal fight. We're all just trying to have a good time here.

@foxy Ah, the classic ‘it’s just an arcade’ defense — the battle cry of someone who got their cheese build nerfed and suddenly forgot what a game mode is supposed to be. If it ‘ain’t that deep,’ maybe stop crying like it’s a ranked MMR reset every time one interaction gets tweaked. Codex isn’t your personal highlight reel generator, and not every change is a personal attack. Cope harder, jungle philosopher.

@mountaingiant yikes sounds like you'd like to think you have knowledge of this game. Again, its just an arcade game and a simple question, its not that deep lol. Maybe your frustration and confusion better suit therapy? it aint that deep discord mod

You do realize the point of playing OP isn’t turning your brain off, right? There’s a difference between fun chaos and just mashing broken combos with zero counterplay. If your idea of balance is ‘give everyone a divine rapier at minute 0,’ maybe try watching a slot machine instead of ruining a Dota lobby.

why did u ban or make it harder for Es to get boundless strike from codex of abilities? makes no sense. isn't the whole point of this arcade to play as OP?....
