No Roof Collapse

Beskrivelse
This mod prevents all roof collapses allowing for safer mining, larger rooms without supports and roofs hovering mysteriously in the air. It affects both natural roofs and constructed roofs.


Compatibility: This mod should be compatible with everything other than mods that specifically rely on roof collapse as a mechanic. It has been reported it is NOT compatible with Raise the Roof.

Safe to install mid-save? Yes.

Safe to remove mid-save? Yes, but roofs will remain un-collapsed until something changes near them (remove a wall, remove a piece of roof, mine rock, etc) to trigger a collapse.

How many times did you re-check the number of Ls in "Collapse" to avoid a repeat of the "Alligned Turbines" incident? Far too many.

I just pushes an update that blocks a few more sneaky methods of collapsing roofs.

If there are still cases of roofs collapsing please try to reproduce the issue with no mods (or the minimum mods required to reproduce); there's not much I can do with error logs that include 300+ mods.

I'll have another hunt through the code for collapsing roofs can collapse and see if I can find what I missed.

this ehhh... half way works. sometimes it just decides there's a super special square of mountain that is immune to the code that prevents roof collapse lol
for the most part it isnt a problem but when you loose a few pawns it can be obnoxious! good idea though! with a little fine tuning it would be a godsend for those of us (like myself) that prefer to build into mountains!

This mod doesn't work. I lost half my pawns due to them removing mountain roof and it collapsed on them.

Thanks for this. I didn't know I needed it til I got the skylights mod and kept killing my pawns trying to build rooms to install the big ones in. I still try to keep it realisticish by adding support collumns where logic would dictate. Used to use the smart remove tool that kept them from crushing themselves but it's broken.
