Grandma Tailoring TV Show

Description
This adds a Tailoring TV show directed by Sarah, but that's Grandma to you. Watch the TV show every day for five days to gain experience in Tailoring.

You can watch this every day at 14:00!
There is five episodes.

There are VHS tapes, they can be found in VHS stores. I do not plan on adding the VHS tapes for this mod to any other location spot.

This mod can be added midsave, but the Grandma Tailoring show will not appear on the TV as it requires a new save because it manually puts in a new show. The VHS tapes however can be found in unexplored areas.

Incompatibilities:
I am unsure if my VHS tapes interfere with other VHS tapes mods but it is highly unlikely. This mod should be compatible with any mod. If there is issues, please write in the comments or join the discord and let me know. I will work on fixing it as soon as possible. All of my TV shows are compatible with each other. There should be no issues.

Permissions:
Permission is NOT given to redistribute this mod in whole or in part. I do not wish it to be reposted anywhere other than Steam. If you have questions regarding this, please send me a message. My thoughts will highly unlikely change. If you plan on adding it into a MODPACK. Make it known to me and give credit.

and its possible to one channel broadcast different shows in different hours?

An Idea I had regarding circumventing the potential hard limit of tv channels was to either have a mod like RFM (Radio Frequency Manager) which can copy channels to a template to add to newly found devices. For this to work though TV's would have to have random tv channels set so you could come across all channels, but ideally a frequency setting would solve all the issues. Due to not being a a modder or coder I don't know where to start in finding the relevant files if its even accessible currently. In theory it would probs mean the designing/editing of a UI on tvs that adds a frequency setting, with coding to allow for finding tv frequencies. Maybe a database of all tv channels frequencies to allow for ease of use and limit performance stress. Without knowing how the radio system works its anyones guess now.

I think your proposal for being on one channel would be great. There are 2 mods on the workshop for Metalworking and Mechanics. I just installed and will check out while also seeing how existing channels are affected. If you could have all 5 on 1 channel that would be great. You could contact the other modders to see if you can add their show to your mod of 1 channel. As long as the other shows fit your style it would make sense for collaboration rather than competition.

I am unsure how I would even go about fixing the hard limit issue except doing the method that I plan on doing. I should have a metalworking show done soon, then mechanics then the adding them all into one show will pretty easy. It's just making both of those shows and adding creativity is slightly difficult more than I'd like to admit lol.

Ah ok ok thx for both answering

Another potential solution to circumventing the 'hard limit' of tv channels would be to allow TV's to have a search channel(frequency adjuster) like radios. They have in real life, so wouldn't be immersion breaking. I know you said your busy but maybe another of the beautiful people who visit this page can figure it out ;)

@Afi - The tv shows, apart from Nurse Rose only last a few days. If these mods are not looping like the other tv channel mods then that would be an issue to ask the mod author of looped tv and radio mod. That author will know what is needed in order for channels to loop. Sounds like the author of looped TV/Radio lists the channels to be looped in his/her mod.

Thanks for your reply Jester. I think you are right about the hard limit on the amount of channels that can be displayed in the tv channel selector window. Trelai being a map mod foremost, means I need to place it early in the mod list with the other map mods. If there is a hard limit then its probs being overwritten by 'Survivor Radio' as that adds 3 tv channels and the issue existed before I added your mods/or tv channel mods.
It would be great if there was a mod that increased the 'potential' hard limit of tv channels, wink, wink ;)
