Battle of Debrecen - 1944 [Axis]

Description
This is my first scenario and time using the editor, so please do share suggestions/bugs in the comments!

Note: This scenario might require certain DLCs to function as intended, as I have used various Unit Types from mainly the Kursk DLC, however you can still attempt to use this scenario, it could work!

History

At the start of October, the USSR launched offensive operations into Eastern Hungary with the goal of toppling the axis regime in Hungary. This scenario starts on the 6th of October 1944, just after the Hungarian 3rd army has been smashed around Arad. The Soviets soon launched their central prong towards Debrecen and surrounding towns with the 6th Guards Army and 2nd Ukrainian Front.

Gameplay Information

There is no difficulty scaling, lower difficulties will only provide more trucks.
I attempted to recreate historical troop placements and orders of battle, but due to a lack of information / game restrictions / balancing, it will not be 100% accurate.
The Soviet AI will rush around your troops and spearhead towards the objectives and try to encircle you, just like the real operation.

Known Bugs:
  • USSR doesn't make any moves on the first turn.
  • Some areas of the rivers are bugged and act like bridges.

Disasterrrr... :( - Well I have replaced a lot of the units, hopefully that should fix any remaining issues, if that doesn't fix it my noob brain is out of ideas. Thanks for the feedback guys!

Hi, just replayed it and it crashed when I deployed the last reinforcement the cavalry.

@Meh! @kappadce Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I apologise for the crashes and it should be fixed now. I had the Immersive Unit Names mod enabled, so didn't realise I was exceeding the character limits for names, which caused them to break and cause crashes. It works fine for me now when I did a play test, so hopefully should for everyone else too.

@Bananaguy Hello, the problem is in the reserves that you can use on turn 6, if you don’t touch them at all and don’t put them on the map, there will be no crashes.

@Meh! Hi, sorry to hear that, do you have any idea what could have caused the crash? Such as; you just made a certain move for it to happen? There is a few crashes that you can generally get across any scenario, mainly related to making moves too quickly that it “freezes” but I will play around and see if I can replicate a crash and if I can fix it.

Seems fun but buggy. Crashed for me on the 6th turn.

Yea it was a fun mission. I enjoyed this "guerrilla tactics" aspects of it of attacking then retreating so the soviets didnt have the chance to destroy your armoured units.

@Bolibomp Yeah sadly I don't have control over editting the map itself, and it's likely to be a mistake by the devs since this area of the europe map isn't used in any DLCs. I'll take a look when I get a chance, and see if I can do anything with making it an "unplayable" area. Thanks for the feedback, hope you got some enjoyment :steamhappy:

Not sure that it's something that you can do anything about but north of Békéscsaba at the Y-crossing the river seems to have a part where its not actually a river. Without any vridge there (I destroyed them) I could move tanks way beyond just one hex across the river.
