Description
This adventure is inspired from the Forgotten Realms Advanced Dungeons and Dragons module:
"The keep at the end of the world"

Welcome to the world of adventure in northern Kaloria.

Northkeep was built hundreds of years ago by the Order of the Frozen Wyrm and served as its headquarters until destroyed by a magical storm.
It was rebuild by an order of Holy Warriors and established as a sanctuary of powerful artifacts and items.
Holy guardians of Northkeep where wizards powerful enough to study the artifacts and quench their powers with their spells.
For many centuries Northkeep provides shelter for all these artifacts and the guardians who study them.
Until now.
Trouble stirs in ancient Northkeep as communication with the guardians suddenly ceases.
What is wrong with the ancient keep and its guardians?


Difficulty is Hard

Start a new party, increase the volume
and immerse yourselves into the dangerous world of the forgotten realms..

Other inquiries:
Does the periodic cold damage persist indefinitely or is there eventually a way to thwart it that I should be looking for?

On level 4 I fed both of the red gems into the gaping faces in some sort of sequence where I got locked out of the southern most room and had to reload an earlier save in order to proceed. Was there another solution to this that I missed or was the intention to lock the player out of progressing if they did that? Basically should I go back and keep messing around with it to figure it out or is it a game ending trap I should avoid?

Are there throwing weapons in this dungeon? I'm on level 5 and I haven't seen so much as a throwing knife.

Ok, Dimitris, finished Northkeep! I liked the gem-of-wonders feature to create new items, similar to the potion-making feature from your two other mods. Also, new spells are always cool--leap was indispensible--and we finally got to see live humanoids instead of endless hordes of undead! I'll move on to your ninth and final mod next. And, thank you for your work! :cozyovercooked2:

OK, how about some details on the coin / fountain thing? After a lot of frustrating attempts I checked the postings. I have tried the coin in all 4 hands of the front guys, waited who knows how many minutes. Do I need to say beetlejuice 3 times or summon a demon in my basement?
Yeah, I know this is a free mod ... and it is a great mod - but this is just sadistic ....... :0)

Also, where do i find the amulet of resurect? i have the other 2 but can't find the 3rd nor any other way to progress.

The mod is quite good, my only criticism so far (Im up to level 6), Is that there are WAY too many skulls, my minotaur fighter's inventory is ENTIRELY filled with skulls, making her attack power rediculous, like 5 times as high as my other fighter, (and unable to carry any other items because her inventory is all skulls). If i'd known there'd be this many I'd have made more party members minotaurs with the headhunter trait. It seems like you used skulls as just decorate flavor pieces, and sometimes puzzle elements, forgetting that they have a gameplay effect with minotaur characters, the main game's campaign has only 5 skulls total, and they're usually carefully hidden.

Hello. Thank you for the great work. It makes a lot of fun to play your mod. I'm on level five. Little feedback: It was very hard to find the stairs to next level at level 4. I was trying to do something with the torches or with the four alcoves. A small hint would make it somewhat smoother.

And I've found a reproducable bug: When unequipping "dagger of the master assassin" game freezes with a lua script error message. It says there would be written an error.log. But I did not found it after killing the Grimrock.bin.x86 process. It looks like the error has something to do with the special trait gaining when equipping the weapon.

Hello. Use an ogre skull
