Description
The Mighty factions are Para Bellum submods designed to work with the main Para Bellum mods: Collection OR Combat, depending on your choice, aming to strengthen specific AI factions, so they can maintain or expand their empires.

This submod improves the statistics of the faction's units with:
+3 melee attack, +4 melee defense, +5 morale
And adds +9000 of extra income, which taking into account how the AI handles budgets is a balanced improvement.

Although these submods are focused on AI, you can use use them as a player too, and if you want to keep the stats' improvements but without the extra income, you can use the Mighty Factions player patch, placing it above the faction you want to play with.

Also keep in mind that the Para Bellum Open Beta includes the script Guaranteed major faction empires by Mitch, so in combination with these submods the chances of prevailing for historical empires will improve.

Installation instructions:

1. Subscribe and place the Para Bellum submods above the main Para Bellum mods in the Mod Manager.

2. Enjoy!

If I could, I would make that edit in the starpos myself, but I never found the right tools. I hope someday you can make these kinds of changes in the initial diplomacy of the campaigns. Mitch’s script is of great help, but in other cases, it is necessary to have a campaign start with conditions that are more historically accurate to reduce the frequency of absurd scenarios. It is disappointing not to be able to fight against powerful factions in the late game and instead find factions that are theoretically garbage.

Palmyra is a good candidate for future releases. About the diplomatic adjustments is a great idea but I think that is not possible without remaking the whole startpos...

I have to try this, and by the way, do you have any plan with Palmira from ED regarding Egypt? I have noticed that even with Mitch’s script, Palmira does not expand, it only survives, never conquers Egypt. I think the problem is rather the hostility of the Sasanids. Perhaps if there was lasting peace between the two, as there was in reality, Palmira could expand in a similar way to what happened in history.
