How To Activate Developer Mode

Short guide on how to activate the dev mode in Cities: Skylines II.

Activating dev mode

• Go to Steam
  
• Right click Cities:Skylines II -> Properties
  
• In General, add --developerMode into the launch options.
  
• Load into your savegame -> press Tab/Home. (After a few seconds of freezing, a slightly transparent black window will pop up on the left.)

You can hide the debug window by pressing Tab again.
That's it!

You also like to mention the HOME key, next to TAB. But as said, be extremly cautios, its possible to ruin the savegame.

Servus Siggi, as a recommendation, you should add, that any change in this window could potentially kill the city instantly, if the player does not know, where to click and what to click. A minority of the users will understand, that this menu is solely for testing/debugging and not for cheating/fixing issues. Plus, no support can be given from anyone, once a user did something unexpected here.
