Oh. That explains a lot. I thought you could just use TModPorter.

Dude I never even played this mod but I remember it from back when, for noobs yes Calamity overshadows all but for us long time, hardcore mod enjoyers, Calamity is just another familiar face. I assure you that a lot of people would be overjoyed to see your work fully once again. If you don’t want to port, that’s fine, it is entirely your decision, but don’t be mistaken, the community has not forgotten about you and would be incredibly thankful. I beg you to give us all a chance. Either way, thank you so much for all the fond memories and joy you’ve brought.

I don't intend to make my mods super popular, but I don't know that someone really plays and enjoys my mods in the current situation.
Only just a number can not build my confidence.

Anyway, there's more problems to port Blue Sky Ore Mod.
I must rewrite all codes written over 2 years for balance adjustment if I port.
The porting can not use automatic porting system prepared in tModLoader.
That's too much work.

Also, it shouldn't even matter if it gets super popular or not. If it makes even a singular person happy, it is worth it.

Calamity oppression is real but it's not as bad as you're making it out to be. Yes, good mods get overshadowed by it. Yes, it completely fills up the community tabs. No, that does not mean people just mindlessly play it.

There are many reasons, but the main reason is motivation.
To port the mod containing over 500 items and special systems is too much work by only me.
Additionaly, most of tModLoader community play only Calamity Mod.
People seem not to have intrested to other mods.
I think people don't play Blue Sky Ore Mod even if ported.
It's not worth going so far as making my eye-strain and depression worse.

With all due respect, I cannot for the life of me understand why you are so against the idea of someone porting Blue Sky Ore to v1.4.4. Why would it be such a problem?

Someone's gonna do it and just rename the mod to something else and change certain features a little and you won't be able to do crap about it, I guarantee you
