Description
This is a preformance and size accurate replica of the Buran spaceplane on the side of the Energia rocket

The Energia rocket is one of the most powerful rockets ever to take to the skys ,It was created by the USSR in response to the american space shuttle, similarily, its payload is attached to the side in its own rocket. the Energia had 2 flights, the first one carried the Polyus stage attached to its side(It failed to reach orbit due to a software problem..)

The second flight was the first and only flight of the Buran , the russan space shuttle ( the program was then canceled due to lack of funding)

Versions of the Energia with the Polyus spacecraft and with out a payload do exist.
