ACR24 Formula 1

Description
ACR24 is a Formula 1 car powered by a Turbocharged Flat-Six engine. It has been designed and tuned from scratch with passion on the legendary Salsalago Circuit, which was built by carn1vore.

The car is fully compliant with the Stormworks F1 2023 Season Regulations. With its active and passive aero, combined with a 60:40 brake balance, variable throttle and clutch pressure sensitivity, and anti-ackermann steering geometry, ACR24 demonstrates improved cornering performance when driven by a skilled pilot.

ACR24 can reach a top speed of 300 km/h. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Additionally, it holds a lap time record of 1:18:120 1:16:270 on Salsalago Circuit.

That could be helpful, especially for the other tracks on the calendar

@Scott_e I only tested it in Salsalago. My fastest lap time is 1:17:300 but never tried other circuits placed on airfields. The car may need ackermann steering geometry for those hairpins because it has anti-ackermann now like some real life F1 cars. Maybe I can add a variable steering geometry which changes with speed.

You should put any race results you get on here soon too to show the merit haha

@pet.kab2011 oh you have a nice F1 car in your workshop too! I'd like to join the championship btw but don't know if I find some free time to participate and find a team. If it's possible I'll be glad to participate as a manufacturer but don't know if it's possible.

@Diadem I used an advanced PID for traction and it can manage pretty well. You need a good test track such as this circuit and lots of test driving sessions.

I tried building a Formula car once, but it had basically no traction.
