Slumberlands - Lore Edition

The lands where the Creator lies, a slumber eternal, her corpse offering solace to the souls she has sown from the flesh of the land. Life begins under the watchful eyes of another, in a new time, askew from the First Realm.

In the first breath of the age, the druids grew from the chasms of the bark of the trees, where the green dream roots the bones of the void.

The silent Saint Necroadis writhed forth from the mud where the withering green had fallen and festered, there he birthed the concept of death. He allowed the fallen to cease their suffering, to rot in an eternal slumber and return to the world.

The Druid Tumiris, a symbol of life, viewed this new concept as an affront to his own beauty. Through a tumultuous ritual a perversion of life spawned in the Heart of the Creator, by the very hand of Tumiris. To oppose the rot, to oppose death, to defy Necroadis, to grow unfettered- at any cost.

Visions of a realm of Cancer, lichenous tendrils reaching and ever gorging- GROWING. Sanctified by the Tumors, St. Tumiris had risen.
