Folks that's a Vietnam era anti-flak helmet, it's supposed to be big. It's made to protect your head even in the face of mortar fire. As to how effective such a helmet is, well it's not in use anymore, because it's heavy, bulky, and doesn't offer that much more protection than it's predecessor, the a WWI era anti flak helmet used by the Germans and soviets all the way into the cold war. That helmet of which is also used by other countries, and is even the U.N. Security helmet, which everyone can go see with the mod for U.N. peace keepers mod, here on zomboid.

That being said, Defa, did an excellent job making the helmet in this mod.
